Make up tips for very pale skin?

I am a red head with very pale skin and freckles. I just wanted to know if anyone can reccomend brands of foundation that work well with this skin type. Also any other make up tips for pale sin would be gratefully received.

Thank you in advanceMake up tips for very pale skin?
Revlon Liquid foundation nude is great for pale skin and they even have a paler one I think it's bare nude or something i find it wonderful.Make up tips for very pale skin?
Hi there fellow red head!! I have had the same troubles as you... the tips I can offer is to look for pink based make up instead of orange based (I use Revlon colorstay 110 Ivory foundation and L'oreal true match powder w1 porcelain). They cover blemishes really well but don't look orange at all, they look really natural.

Also, stay away from pink eyeshadows, stick to cool colours like grey or light blues or browns (depending what suits you and whats in fashion!)

Just experiment lots and work out what looks good on you, disregard the trends if they don't suit your colourings! Goodluck xx
yay! go pale skin! (i have it too)

i would go for a mineral makeup, as it's much lighter so you're less likely to get 'concentrations' of colour anywhere and they come in some very light shades too. i wouldn't go for creams etc because if it's even SLIGHTLY dark/the wrong colour compared to your skin, it'll be really obvious as you are so pale. mineral makeup tends to generally look more natural as well and it's better for your skin. bare escentuals make some and loreal now too (but they have less shades).

as for other tips, i'd stay away from really dark or overly bright colours, although a bit of brown eyeliner/mascara can help you look less 'washed out' and bring out your eyes. i like to wear black, but i have dark hair, so maybe it would be too 'harsh' for you? (depends on your 'style'). colourwise, green eyeshadow complements red hair and light beigey colours and shimmey pinks look nice with pale skin. i'd also hold up different colours next to your eyes and see what brings them out. pale skin also looks gorgeous with a really light pink (or peach) blusher (i like dandelion by benefit - it's technically a 'finishing powder', but for pale skin, it makes a good blusher that's less 'harsh' than normal ones).

either way, don't try to cover up your pale skin because it won't look good! embrace it :D lol
Go for a coloured foundation one shade darker than your skin tone, nude beige is very good, i use it %26amp; i'm very fair skinned. For blusher try rimmel pink rose, it makes me look healthy instead of pale %26amp; uninteresting. If you have grren eyes like me then use a brown eyeshadow it brings out the lovely green, the trick is to blend well for a better look%26amp; a little grey or black eyeliner, you will look lovely.
Well I have pale skin just like you, and i just got new makeup that works GREAT!!! I get Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup. I went to the store and the lady that worked there came up to me and offered to do my makeup, to see if i liked it. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I ended up seeing my cousin there and there all like ';Omg you look beauiful!'. I was talking to some other lady and we were talking about makeup and she was like you actually have makeup on!?!?! It looks so natural!! So yeah, that works really well!! And since you ESTEE LAUDER also had Bronze peals, which will really make you glow. You should try it, all though its kinde expensive, it will last you a long time, because its 16 Hour wear, and yes, it does last that long! And with summer right around the corner, you probaly get some color with all that AWSOME SUN!!!!! lol good luck hope i helped=]]

Oh and BTW, you can get this makeup at Macy's!

**EDIT**

And yeah like some of the people said above me, bare minerals works really well=]
I have the same problem: red hair and pale skin. I use L'Oreal True Match super-blendable perfecting foundation. That's the name on the bottle! It's very light and blends in with my skin tone, I really recommend it.

It lasts forever too, I've had one bottle for 3 months now and it's barely gone down at all. Good value!
i wear max factors miricle touch, its really good and doesnt go orangey. my best advice is to get the right shade rather than a specific make, never try nd go darker with the shade because it wont make you less pale, it will make you look orange (i have been there).

i also think green eyes go really nice with pale skin, and a pale shade is really summery too!

dont tan: love youre paleness!!!!!!!

Whatever you go with make sure it is sheer a heavy cover with freckles is a no-no.....L'oreal has some good ones if you go to the cosmetic counter the beauty expert can help you...or try MAC another excellent one...they will give you a mini makeover too....
If you ever heard of Bare Minerals then try to buy some of that. Its a powder make up and it express your natural skin color in a glow and its also very healthy for you skin because it absorbs nutrients from the sun..... Go Natural! =D

You need to have a high factor sun screen base or foundation that includes it. You are lucky colour wise because you can get away with most shades as long as they aren't too orangy.
Dream matte mouse

It comes in different colours.. also very easy to rub in and looks so naturual

and adds colour to your face without looking orange
