What are some really good make up tips and tricks?

keep it simple. the whole point of makeup is obviously to make you look pretty, but also to make it look like your beauty is natural. So don't wear bright red lipstick, and blush, bright eyeshadow, and tons of glitter. Just wear some clear lip gloss, very light eyeshadow, and don't even bother with the blush. If anyone gets close enough to your face they'll see a layer of powder, which will most likely remind them of an old lady. What are some really good make up tips and tricks?
Keep it simple put a little bit of lip gloss light eyeshadow and maybe some eyeliner to go with it!What are some really good make up tips and tricks?
This might sound really basic but if your skin is a tad oily then unfortunately your make-up will simply slide off. Make sure your face is well cleansed, toned and moisturised and wait at least 20 minutes to allow your moisturiser to sink in before applying foundation.

When choosing your foundation, opt for one that is oil-free and longer lasting.

Apply a light dusting of translucent powder to your face, concentrating on those oily areas like your forehead, nose and chin. This will help your foundation set and give the rest of your make-up something to grab onto.

Before you apply your eyeshadow, apply a little foundation and powder to your lids for a longer lasting finish. Bear in mind that powder shadows tend to last longer than creams. If you wear eyeliner, a liquid formula will be harder wearing than a kohl pencil. However it can be trickier to apply and will take some practice.

For mascara that goes the distance you鈥檒l need that trusty translucent powder again. Between coats, apply a light dusting of powder and use a lash comb to separate them before applying the second coat. It will last longer but will also require some extra elbow grease to remove!

To avoid disappearing cheek colour, invest in a cheek tint. These tend to be pricier and there aren鈥檛 as many to choose from so if you stick with powder then boost its staying power by applying over foundation.

If you鈥檙e a gloss girl then keeping your lips lusher for longer is a problem. Because of the naturally moisturising consistency of a gloss, it鈥檚 near impossible to make it stay. If you aren鈥檛 a fan of lipstick then invest in a thicker gloss that will last longer.
it depends on wat you tryna do
Well in the first place instead of using bright colors, choose warm ones that match your skin tone. Do not try to put alot of blush on (everyone has some what of a natural blush). If you want to define your eyes, then add a light but shimmery color on the top part of your eye lids, (underneath the eyebrow). Use white eyeliner on the bottom to define your eyes and give them more of a big kind-of look.

Best Makeup Brushes Guide

As your sift through this information, make note of the ideal characteristics your makeup brushes and tools should have....i.e.. shape of and type of bristles AND buying considerations such as natural bristle is often (but not always) a better choice and is more expensive. Noting further fine details like are the bristle hairs blunt from being unnaturally cut or is each bristle naturally tapering as a natural hair would will improve your purchase satisfaction as the quality and performance increase.

Here are some general descriptive words used to describe brush characteristics:

brush head shape; square, dome, tapered, angled, slant etc

brush head size; fine (extra small), small, medium, large, extra large

bristles; natural hair -sable, squirrel, goat vs. synthetic- nylon, taklon

bristles; texture-fine, soft, coarse

bristles; firm, stiff, dense etc.

handle length; long, short, 'travel size'

Eye shadow tips:

After years of seeing makeup artists in action and learning numerous eyeshadow tips and tricks, here are my 10 favorites I wish someone had told me twenty years ago:

Secret #1: Blending is key

Ok, well I sorta knew this, but I wasn't sure HOW TO BLEND. You use three different colors: The base, usually a very light taupe, a highlighter for the crease and a main color for the lid, but how to get them to look as if they merge into each other like the colors of a rainbow? My secret: Start light then go darker. Brush the base color, apply the lid color and THEN apply the highlighter. Also, don't be too heavy-handed or you'll have to start over. Extra tip: Practice makes perfect. Play with your makeup a few days before a big event.

Secret #2: Choose shadows that make the color of your eyes pop

Gone are the days when beauty experts advised against blue shadow. Matching the color of your eye with a shadow actually brings the color out (think blue shadow on blue eyes). At the same time, contrasting colors make eyes pop too (think a deep jeweled blue shadow on deep brown eyes).

Secret #3: Never cover your browbone with deep color -- unless you're doing a cover shoot for Vogue

You don't want the drama too much shadow brings. Apply shadow up to the browbone but don't apply shadow ON the bone unless it's a neutral color or a highlighter.

Secret #4: Highlighter can make or break your look

When applying dark shadow to the crease of your eye, be careful to blend only on the outside edge. Get to close to the eye and you'll cause your eyes to look teeny and beady.

Secret #5: Set shadow with a great base

Primers are super hot right now because they help set makeup that stays for hours. I've found the secret to keeping shadow in place for hours is a shadow base. Almost everyone makes them but I swear by MAC Paints.

Secret #6: Shimmer is hot, but plays up wrinkles

Shimmer makes eyes really pop, but it also highlights heavy lids, lines and wrinkles. A great look for shimmer is to create a 'nude' lid, but apply a bit of gold shimmer to the browbone. Gorgeous!

Secret #7: Smokey is great, but keep it to the lid

Making up a smokey eye? Keep color to the lid and just under the lower lashline. Don't extend color above the crease.

Secret #8: How to pair shadow with red lips

Remember the beauty rule 'Thou Shalt Not Play up the Lips AND the Mouth.' If you're going for dramatic red lips (never out of fashion), cover unsightly blue lines on lids with a concealer or shadow primer and then keep eyeshadow light.

Secret #9: Make eyes brighter with white

A dot of white shadow or pencil on the inside of the eye near the tear duct will make eyes look brighter.

Secret #10: Go for color Taupe and lavender look great on all eye colors. Also consider mixing shades if you bought a color that's just too bold for you. Mixing an electric blue with taupe can turn out the most perfect color.

Eyeliner can make even the smallest eyes appear larger. Applying it correctly is key, you don't want the line to be too dark, harsh and obvious or you risk looking overdone. Here we share our favorite tried-but-true eyeliner tips and then give instruction on how to apply a basic eye, a smoky eye, a bold eye and a cat eye.

Three ways to apply liquid eyeliner

A typical way to apply liquid eyeliner is to line eye from the inside of the lashes outward in one big sweep. You can also line the eye from the middle of the lashline outward. Then finish the line from the inner corner of the eye to the middle.

My third liquid eyeliner trick requires a steady hand. The results are supposed to be wider eyes.

Step 1: Start with a completely bare eye, no shadow or mascara.

Step 2: Apply liquid liner in the upper lashes. Dot the liner into lashes, pushing them aside if need be. The result is not supposed to be a line. It's supposed to look as if the lashes themselves are super thick at the root.

Step 3: Apply mascara.

Step 4: CompareDoes anyone have any good make up tips?
always put ur eye shadow and eye liner on before u do ur mascara!

to make ur eyes pop u use colors thats are different from ur eye color!

blue and green eyes: brown, black, grey darker colors

brown, or dark eyes: blue, purple, green, brighter colors

hazel you can pretty much use any color!

to make ur lips pop...lip liner or gloss.

never make ur eyes and lips pop are the same time, u dont wanna look like u got to much make up one

and in the coner of ur eyes a gold or white color will maek ur eyes pop out more!

and always moiserize before foundation or concealer! sry about my spelling!
First make sure that your skin is clean and that you have properly shaped your eyebrows to shape your face..To hide any blemishes the best thing to do is to use tinted moisturizer with SPF especially during the summer..Nxt you could use some mascara on top and bottom, eyeshadow( when using eyeshadows like gold or light beige, it would look good if you used a lighter color on your eyebrow bone),...

Here is a makeup look that i am wearing to my sisters wedding next weekend. its what all the jr. brides maids have to wear since we are all like 14-16..http://images.b105.com.au/2009/04/17/168266/Miley-cyrus-steal-her-style-ent-14-600x400.jpg

Oh and Good Luck!!
more appealing for me is just no makeup

if you're hot you're hot if you're if you're

not you're not

but you still look better with no make up
Luminizer has light-reflecting substances that give you a very pleasant glow when the sun hits your face. Apply it after foundation.
i think you should go on youtube....they have cool videos

like Michelle Phan.....shes awesome.!!!
White eyeliner just dotted on the inner or outer corner of your eyes look really good.

Can i get some make up tips for my job interview?

I have my first job interview on tuesday next week can i get some make up tips..any do's and donts...thank youCan i get some make up tips for my job interview?
Use foundation or tinted moisturizer to even your skin tone and cover blemishes.

路 Apply concealer where needed but don鈥檛 over do it, especially around your eyes.

路 Use a facial highlighter or a soft white eye shadow to lightly accentuate the inner corners of your eyes. A bright-eyed look says you鈥檙e alert and interested in what the interviewer is saying.

路 Use a neutral color palate for your eyes of no more than three shades. Try a light sand highlight shade for browbones, hazelnut along the crease and cocoa on lids and under the lower lashes.

路 Line your lids with sage or sable. Liner should be used sparingly and smudged to create a defined, but soft look.

路 Apply soft black mascara lightly along lower lashed and to top lashes. Apply a second sweep along the outside lashes to really open your eyes. Be sure mascara has no clumps, flakes or smears along your lids.

路 Use an eyebrow pencil or powder to fill-in and define your look. A small amount of hair wax helps define brows and keep them in place.

路 Apply blush lightly under your cheek bones to define and on the apples of your cheeks to accent your eyes.

路 Line your lips with a neutral liner and fill in. Apply a mild lipstick in a coordinating shade to your eye palate. Be sure your lips are moisturized. Freshen your smile with a clear lip balm before you go in for your interview.

路 Avoid all shimmer and high-shine gloss.

What are make up tips to make GREEN eyes stand out and eyes look BIGGER?

okay i have green eyes to and i am really good with eyeshadows and such. okay use a bright blue, a dull grren, and brown, and tan to do this. put brown at the bottom ( thin strip of brown). and then do the green on the lid (dont go any higher than the crease) then take the blue and on the outside corner do a little streak of blue and do blue lightly in the crease. then use the tan on your brow area. then take brown liner on top (not too much) and a litttle on bottom. use black mascara. and to add some extra effect take blue liner and (lightly) smudge under eye lashes on bottom. =) here is something a little similar, but not totally. she doesnt have green eyes. but watch her vids, now she is famous! she is amazing!! (this one has the blue liner)http://youtube.com/watch?v=DCEFsKfiEIU and this one is similar to the shadow http://youtube.com/watch?v=MqAsravUn-Y

and this one is too http://youtube.com/watch?v=neAkUTJT9DM

(but not so intense haha) =)What are make up tips to make GREEN eyes stand out and eyes look BIGGER?
All eye colors look lighter when you surround them in a dark version of their color( and jet black) So i'd say use subtle olive- forest green eyeliner and get it all smudgy, only on the top lid, the second you touch your bottom lid your eyes will look smaller. And then use at least 3 coats of blacker than black mascara! What are make up tips to make GREEN eyes stand out and eyes look BIGGER?
Do not use eye liner on the upper lid. Use a taupe or light color shadow to open the eyes. Do not use green or blue but stick to very light colors to bring out the green and widen the eye. Use eye liner under eye only.
ive got green/brown eyes and to make the green stand out, i have a light gold shimmery eyeshadow, then pile on the mascara and eyeliner. i have big eyes anyway so they look massivo :D
With green eyes, use blue or yellow eyeshadows. They enhance your green eyecolor more because they are complimentary.
BROWN DEFINETLY, IT WILL BRING OUT THE GREEN IN IT

AND USE HEAVY BROWN MASCARA AND EYELINER
hey i have green eyes and i use light green sparkly eye shadow and i find it helps especially with black eye liner and mascara!

    x
try almay eyeshaow for green eyes. it works great and it makes those gorgeous green eyes POP!!!

What are some make up tips when applying eyeshadow?

When you are applying eyeshadown, make sure you are using a brush, a soft brush, not like the ones that comes w/ the eyeshadow packes (the white ones). Make sure you are using at least two colors, one dark and one light. Apply the light one first, on your whole entire eyelid, and the darkest one last, and only apply to the part that is nearest to your eye. What are some make up tips when applying eyeshadow?
Definitely blend!! Here are some colors that go well together:

    %26gt;Brown %26amp; light brown

    %26gt;Pink %26amp; purple

    %26gt;Yellow %26amp; gold

    %26gt;Black %26amp; dark brown

    %26gt;Silver %26amp; white

    %26gt;Red %26amp; pink

But remeber these are just suggestions! What are some make up tips when applying eyeshadow?
i like using a small brush to aply light colors or pastel colors. if they are darker colors, i like using a sponge. and then if there is any type of color coordinating to be done, go by layers. :)
I always get good make up tips here.

    Hope you like it.
light shade goes on lid and darker color in crease and lightest on eyebrow area
Virtual Makeover is great. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below.
Use 3 different colors. Use the lightest as your base. Then use the darkest for the crese of your eye lid, then you can use the remaining shade for just the top of your lids. Use strokes from the outside to the inside. And if you need to blend the colors get a shimmer like the one from cover girl it's a neutral color with a fat brush that's good for blending.
Depending on the effect you are going for...

pay attention to the natural shadows of your face, and aim to exaggerate them. For example, your brow bone is a good area to highlight, and the crease and outer sides of your lids are good to shadow.

For something more dramatic I would recommend a medium shade to start on the entire bottom lid, and a light shade around the brow bone to highlight. Then a third darker shade to use on the outer half of the lid towards the hairline and ear.

For something a bit more natural, subtle, day time, you could use the above technique but with more neutral colors, or simply skip the third shade.

Always be sure to blend blend blend. :]

Anyone have good hair or make-up tips for the first day of school?

I am going into high school so i want to look good for my first day.

I have shoulder length dark brown hair, greenish goldish eyes, fair skin and an oval face.

If anyone has any good products that they think would be good for me please tell me. (the brands i like are stila, benefit, urban decay and too faced)Anyone have good hair or make-up tips for the first day of school?
the first answer is wrong. fingers have acid on it thats why they tell you not to touch ur face cos it also causing bacteria

i say just get a powder and use a brush to apply it cos teh sponges don't really do good.

makeup: natural if u put on to much people wil lthink u try to hard etc.

hair: straight until u find a hairstyle for you. don't go with supercurly hair cos thats over the top

make sure u don't have shirts with butterflies and stupids slogans on it like im with him or sumtin

u can hav a band name tho

get a purse or some kind of bag, backpacks are ok but u'lkl switch tp purses anywaysAnyone have good hair or make-up tips for the first day of school?
Okay I don't use ANY of those products, but what I do use works wonders! For my foundation I use maybellene dream matte mouse. I was skeptical at first but found it to be awesome. I use my fingers for the application in order to get a good smooth finish. (sponges just absorb the makeup and collect bacteria) Also try the mineral powder or dream matte powder. They create a good smooth facial appearence. Try everything before the first week of school! You don't want to walk around before you perfect your look!
i'm totally agreeing with the first answer! i love the dream mousse foundation, and you can wash your hands before applying to prevent bacteria.

don't get all wrapped up in what you look like; however a good first impression is a must.

i can tell you know that every other girl is obsessing over the same thing.

do what looks good on you.
well... as a senior in high school, i want to say that the first day of school isnt really that much of a big deal. just do whatever you do normally. wear your everyday makeup, do your normal hair... trust me:)
hair: straighten ur hair with an iron

make-up: very light, if it is tooo heavy they will think something bad about u.......

    brands: Granier Fructous, Aveda, Suave.....
don't you have like another 2 months before school starts?

What are good make up tips for an asian girl who doesnt wear alot of make up but would like to try?

i dont wear alot of make up but everyone does and i want to try alittle. most of my friend are white and give me make overs sometimes. like just how they do their faces but what they do just doesnt look right on me.What are good make up tips for an asian girl who doesnt wear alot of make up but would like to try?
My number one piece of advice for you is to not hide your Asian features! Pick one specific feature on your face that you want to emphasize like, for instance, your eyes. Then just focus on that one area so that you avoid looking to ';overdone.'; Try a little light cream blush that you can blend as much or as little as you like. Try some dark grey eyeliner (using black eyeliner is mostly good for nighttime) and some black mascara. Feel free to experiment a little with eye shadow colors. That is a pretty safe way to experiment with makeup colors without going too overboard.

Don't use eyeshadow on the entire eye. Just pat a little bit above your eyelash line for a subtle effect. For Asians, greens and pinks look incredible.

Shiseido makes very good makeup that blends in well with Asian skin tones. What are good make up tips for an asian girl who doesnt wear alot of make up but would like to try?
Well i recommend mascara to show off your eyes a bit and maybe some blush and a pretty mauve lipstick with some gloss

Don' t overdo it though! The natural look is beautiful

Try looking up Michelle Kwan and take after how she does her makeup
Go to the make-up counter in the mall and let them do your make-up and watch how they do it too. Purchase some products that you like. I think people look fake with a lot of make-up, especially if you are Asian you don't need powder, just eyes lips and blush and maybe a mineral powder if you want it.
try a little bit of eyeliner.....eyeshadow....and lip gloss...i'm not asian but i hope that works on you
Go for a nice lip gloss. :) That or jazz up one of your strong facial features.
well it's really because our eyes are almound and yes i did spell aloumd like that.

to apply to the eyes, use a light color, light blue, green even just white.

    1. only apply to the close part of your eyes, probably halfway or less to your browbone.

    2. use a nice lipcolor, like orangy pink, there is a REALLY good one from dior, but if you can't afford that, just go to the drug store and look for something a bit more pinky than red.

    3. if you want you can apply some eyeliner, and put a little up slant to give your eyes cat eyes, because our eyes are already like that

Make up tips for acne and large pores?

This is very last minute, but I have a Christmas party this evening (Dec. 16) at my boyfriend's work. I've not met any of his coworkers yet, and from what I hear, I'll be the center of attention for the first part of the evening. I want to look my best but with the acne that I have, plus large pores and oily skin my makeup tends to look awefull within an hour or so. If anyone has any tips or ideas on how to make the make up look presentable it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Make up tips for acne and large pores?
Begin with exfoliating and then moisturise with an oil free moisturiser. Wait until it has soaked in before applying an oil free dewy foundation designed to stay. Then use a concealer to touch up any acne marks/scars. Let set, then dust a loose powder over the face (try Loreal in Translucide). This will keep the makeup in place for longer. Try not to use pink or red toned blushes/eye makeup as these can emphasise the acne. Try a light bronzer sweeped across cheeks and line eyes with a gold shimmery shadow. Have fun!Make up tips for acne and large pores?

    good luck. Report Abuse

well if you put cold water on your face and i mean the coldest water that you can get, then right after, and i mean RIGHT after put the hottest water that you can possible take. it should make your face light up and get that grease and pore problem gone. for the acne i suggest to put a little powder on it and no foundation. even if you still show some acne you should look fine. nut if not make a distration to somewhere else. like your eyes of hair or even cloths then that will be the thing they look at not your skin problems.
There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

On certain nights where I need to stay oil free as long as possible, I wish with Neutrogena's oil control foaming cleanser. It dries up the skin and makes it tight, so i also put just a dab of moisturizer.

Then I put my make-up on as usual. If you use a use a liquid foundations, pat it on, dont smear. Make sure you use a wet make-up sponge too.

Cover with a sheer powder or a pressed powder foundation and bring it with you! Make sure you use a brush, and not the pad they give you.

Then bring it with you. When you start to feel oily, re touch your powder on your T-Zone.

You can also bring with you oil absorbing sheets to touch up too.

    Good luck and have fun!!

What sort of make up tips to make my nose seem sharper?

what can i do in the sense of make up to make my nose seem sharper? i have asian skin tone, and a lil tanned.

    thanks!

also, i have really skinny legs, will wearing four inch heels make it seem skinnier? or should i stick to a one inch heel? or just wear flats? i am very tall, about five feet eight, and i am really really skinny! i want to wear a taller heel, because this will make my feet seem smaller. big feet is a big nono. so help ppl? =) thanks in advance! What sort of make up tips to make my nose seem sharper?
Buy a fileWhat sort of make up tips to make my nose seem sharper?
Dark shades on both side of the nose makes it look sharper. Try smudging with a darker tone of tan. I don't think you need to wear high heels if you're tall and have skinny legs but if you insist on wearing one then you must wear it with a long skirt or a not too tight pants to hide your skinny legs.
Put some blush or bronzer highlighting powder on both sides of you nose. Make sure you start from where your eyebrows are and go down. Don't do it too dark, just lightly (to make it look kind of like a shadow).

For your legs wear some small heels when wearing a skirt (if you wear 4 inch your legs will look much longer). If you wear jeans I guess you'll be ok with taller ones.

    Well i hope that helps!
    Get a nose job (surgery)
get a highlighter and draw a simple stripe down your nose ( no not highlighter like for highlighting words) be careful that it is not a noticeable stripe bringa mirror in different light and check it out. it should be very subtle. the same product can be used right under your eyebrows to give them some lift. that can go on a little thicker there.

be careful that its not obvious! and good luck

My eyes are not crazy different just enough to piss me off when looking in the mirror. One of my eyes is smaller and differently shaped (not too drastically) what are some make up tips to fix that?
my right eye is a little bit smaller than my left eye too, so when i put my black eyeshadow on i just put a bit more of the right eyelid. :]One of my eyes is smaller and differently shaped (not too drastically) what are some make up tips to fix that?
everyone is like that. Not many people have perfect faces like that. Just do your makeup to look that same. I have the exact same problem, I just deal. No need to get pissed about it.

Is there any make up tips for pale, circular faces?

I can not seem to find the right makeup for my skin tone!Is there any make up tips for pale, circular faces?
I would suggest going to a make-up counter, or visiting a make-up artist and asking him/her for tips and advice as to what products to buy and how to use it. It'll help wonders. However, if you can't do this, simply do your make-up as you normally would, then take a light bronzer, and using a large blusher brush, apply the bronzer along your hair line, your cheek bones, and your jawline, plus anywhere else the sun would naturally hit you. This is a quick remedy for the paleness (which I would actually embrace, porcelain skin is beautiful), and it will give you the illusion of more sculpted bone-structure by really defining your cheek bones and jaw line. Just remember to blend so your make-up looks more natural, and not clown-like or painted on. Good luck!Is there any make up tips for pale, circular faces?
Go to the department store and have the saleslady help you match a foundation to your skin tone. Try an asian brand like Shisheido. They make lighter colored foundations
I have a pale, round face.. And I always always go with Covergirl they have such great makeup. Go with their palest color in liquid, and then use a powder with a blush brush over. I would also say get a really nice pink blush too. But be careful.. It will look way to pink if you use too much because of your skintone. And I like to go with pink and light copper eyeshadow colors. Try MAC for eyeshadow.

Oh and dont worry im already changing my hairstyle..What type of make up tips would you give me?
wear a little eyes shadow, mascara, lip gloss. dont start wearing foundation because it will ruin your skin by giving you spots and rinkles.

good luck :DWhat type of make up tips would you give me?
go to almay.com and choose the correct colors for your skin, eyes, and lip type, print off your list and head off to walmart [:

you don't need foundation and eye liner but if you want to use it, start with little makeup first andwork your way up so you're more comfortable with what you look like with the makeup

foundation - i use dream matte mousse but theres a new airbrushed one - i cant remember which brand it was but its in cosmo. get a shade equal to or one lighter than your natural skintone.

concealer - dream matte mousse do good ones. dab them under your eyes before you apply foundation.
    eyeliner,

and just reg. make up like foundation %26amp; powder.

Go to sephora, %26amp; ask them .

To be honest id just use mascara and eyeliner , thats what i use everyday and i think its just enough . Maybe a little dark pink blusher if you want colour in your cheeks.
Kohl black pencil eyeliner would look great and enhance your eyes. Maybe some blush to give your cheeks more colour! x

A cute top and a pair of heels can dress up any pair of jeans. If that's not your style try lots of colors. Mix different shades of one color. stay away from clothes that are tight instead choose something that will hug in all the right places. Find things that accent what you have.

Make up tips for a dark brunette with fair skin?

Okay so I have very dark brown hair, and fair quite pale, a bit pinky skin and I was wondering whether there are any good make up tips for my 'type'?

I can't really wear eyeliner because it makes my eyes look way too dark because they are dark already..

anything i should use? avoid?Make up tips for a dark brunette with fair skin?
wear mascara but get brown eyeliner so it isnt as dark but still makes your eyes stand out then get a natrual foundation with maybe a little blusher pinky colour.Make up tips for a dark brunette with fair skin?
I have the same colouring and I use ';blue'; toned lipstick...they dont LOOK blue but the undertones are blue...ask at the beauty counter if you cannot tell the difference between orange tones and blue tones...they are all one or the other. Also, grey or silver eyeshadow or liner looks AMAZING on our tone.
I have the EXACT same 'type' I just only have blue eyes.

For my problems I go to the beauty counters in the mall for opinions. (I use Clinique).
Use a highlighter concealer around your eyes ans use a little brown not black eye liner, use maskara too open up your eyes. Also use a rose coloured blusher on your cheek bones, i have dark brown hair and was told this was best.

Or if your still unsure call into a department store in your city center and they will give you some tips based on your skin, eye and hair colour.
tinted moisturiser...doesn't turn you orange just stops your face being so pale against dark hair
I have the EXACT same 'type' I just only have gray blue eyes.

For my problems I go to the beauty counters in the mall for opinions. (I use Clinique).
a little peach blush (try a powder, like clinique, or lancome) and brown or black mascara will go a long way

dont tan! i hate how no one appriciates fair skin these days!

What are your best make up tips?

Well, I'm addicted to make up, and I feel like I need to step up a bit. Anyone got any tips or advice? What are your best make up tips?
these are couple of tips that would work for any:

    - Apply any moistrizing face cream (Olay?) before starting

    - Always clean ur face with wipes before starting ur makeup

    - Always use an eye lash curler (heat it with a hair dryer! but be careful)

    - Mix liquid foundations of a light and a dark shades

    - Apply counseler after ur done with your make up for a fresher look and to remove any eyeshadow left overs

    - Try putting shimmer blush on ur cheek bone to the tip of ur eye brows

    - Put under your cheek bone a dark shade of blush to make ur face look thinner

    - Apply shimmer eyeshadow under ur eye brow tip and blend with eye shadow (any color eye shadow will just be fine)

    - When using lip liner, try coloring all ur lips then apply the lipstick for longer lasting

    - I think the best thing to apply over lipstick is LIP PALM

Enjoy its always fun to try being creative specially if u love make up ;) !What are your best make up tips?
Well my tips for make up is to make it look natural. like use a light eye shadow color like a light pink and apply black eyeliner to make your eyes pop and well putting on mascara, roll the brush while you are putting it on to make your eyelashes curl and thick!

If you want to use dark eye shadow thats cool too, but blow on the brush before applying to your eye lid to get off the extra eye shadow on the brush and don't make the eye shadow to dark.! And for fondation just get the right color of your skin tone!

For eyeliner if you want to make it look cool. Take the eyeliner and put it on the bottom of your eye and on the top and connect the eye liner on the top and bottom of your eye and make it come straight out from the corner of your eye. you can do alot of cool designs if you make the eyeliner come out from the corner of you eye!

well thats just some of my tips on how i do my make up sometimes :D

i hope it helps you out with your make up
First and foremost Take special care of your skin, Cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize everyday, Sunscreen is a must..!

I would suggest seeing someone for a makeup consultation to find colors etc. that will play up your features the best.

Most Department stores have cosmetic counters where you can get a consultation for free.

I use Clinique products exclusively because that is the brand that works best for me...

    Good luck !
Really depends on what look you're going for, it's tough to know. fingers/brushes/qtips are your best friends for proper application. also, play up one feature at a time choose lips or eyes. if you're going with a smokey eye dont do more than a light gloss on your lips and vice versa choose just a bit of light eyeshadow/mascara and wear a bold lipcolor.

I want some make up tips, mabey somthing that would look really cute.?

I really want to look cute, i dont have oily skin, i have green/blue eyes, blond hair and a face that suits me, but i am looking for some hair tips. Something mabey to get a boyfriend?I want some make up tips, mabey somthing that would look really cute.?
ok for make up i would do like a light pink or a nuetral brown that looks good with your skin tone. i use a light almost whiteish brown for the inner corner to the brown bone part of my eye then on the lid of my eye i use a little darker brown and thenfor the outer corner i use a really dark brown and blend the middle. if i want to smudge my eyeliner i use pencil liner, if i dont then i use a thin line liquid black liner, dont use liquid on the bottom cuz then i goes in ur eye. do a lip gloss on the pinky side that matches ur skin. im sorry that was so long, i hoped it helped. and i would help with hair but i dont really know your face shape and all.I want some make up tips, mabey somthing that would look really cute.?
For cute make up, keep it minimal and natural. If you need some concealer and foundation apply it sparingly. I would add a line of kohl eyeliner at the top of the eyes, leave out the bottom to accentuate them discreetly - remember cute means you don't overdo things. Then get some lipgloss with a bit of baby pink colour. Oh, and don't forget mascara!! But again, don;t use too much that will clump your lashes up.

A cute relaxed ponytail, wavy/curled hair or anything relaxed like that appeals to guys - it shows you aren't vain.
Do you want make-up and hair tips??? Well, for the hair just go to someone {hair salon} you trust and ask them to give you a haircut that fits your face. For make-up, just go to the mall {sears} and ask them to give you a makeover.
do the smokey eye look for makeup-tht always looks good

for your hair-you can curl it, straighten it, or scrunch it. keep it open so tht you can do the hair-flippy-flirt thing
I would recommend to wear make-up that give you a healthy glow; use bronzing beads for your cheek color, a peach lip-gloss, mascara, and a little bit of eye shadow.
well you should try maballine power and some brown eyeliner and some blush and mascara for makeup

for hair you should layer your hair and get side bangs
you could scrunch your hair or put it up
This is how 2 do ur makeup!

    Then eyeliner,

Use Black! I have green eyes, it goes great with blue and green.

You should apply it to the top and bottem. Use a pencil eyeliner.

TIP: This is how you put on eyeliner:

start with underneith your eye. Start at the end and put the liner about half way. Get a spongy looking makeup tool and sweep underneith it.(This makes it a perfect line)

The secret on how get it right on your lashline:

You are done with the bottem, so go to the top. shut one eye and pull up a little. draw about halfway into you eye. If you put it all the way you look a little emo(been their done that) and take your spongy looking thing out again and sweep right abouve it. This removes any liner you messed up, or smuged. now you are done this eye, do you other eye.

REMEMBER:This will only work good if you have a good-quality PENCILliner. I would suggest Estee Lauder, it is what I use.

now you use your blush(Clinque?, MAC?)

TIP:When you put it on, put it on in a circular motion and smile. You will feel cray-z but later in the day when you smile it will look gr8.

Next, get a bronzer from victoria secret's.(They r cheap, and good quality) Put this all over your face lightly, this is NOT suppose to make you an umpha-lumpha. It just makes you sunkissed.

Next, Get an eye shadow. Use light pink (It will go gr8 with ur eyes)for the lid, and white for the brow-bone. I'd suggest maybeline.

Next, get a maskara. I use LashBlast by covergirl. I have short lashes and it makes 'em look long. It is cheap, and can b bought at wal-mart or anyother store.

Next, get a lipgloss. I'd suggest Real Beauty by Victoria's secret.

Some good smelling pinks are: Passion Fruit pop, Nilla Ice, Cupquake, and a bright pink pinked lemonade. Red is Cherry Bomb.

For hair I would do half-up. Leave half of your hair down, and put the other half in a pony tail. The hair on the bottem should be straightened, and the hair thats showing out on the ponttail should be curled. I think this is a really cute-flirty hairstyle:).

    If you don't want to do that much work, leave you hair down, blowndry and straightened with a headband. It should be a wide,bright colored, hairband. That shouts';Look @ me!!!';

P.S.If you have any probs. you want to clear up, use netragena.

    P.P.S. Use a perfume. If you want suggestions I'd say Airie by american eagle ';Blushing';

or Victoria's Secret's ';Pink'; or ';Dream Angles Heavenly'; Those all smell awesome:)

with all those stats u dont need no make up.besides i dont want u smearing my bed with them.can we go to bed now plsssssssssss?lol
if u wana hide the freckles put on a lil foundation or concealer but put very little coz it can cake on ur face! then put on a nuetral eye shadow nd blush... add sum body glitter on ur eyes ( alittle ) then add sum lipgloss nd viola! ur ready!
just eyelasher and a lttle lip gloss (less is more)
blush and mascara and lipgloss and for when you are doing something special try a little eyeliner on the top the best kind is studio gear black cake eyeliner it is kind of $$ but it will last you over a year if you wear it ever day
Do not wear Foundation or Powder this wil lreck your face!...just put some shiny lip gloss....some bronzing blush, some balck or brown mascara ...and a litlle bit of black eyeliner..and ull look natural!
Blend well and light makeup for fair skin. I use light pinks and blues and lip gloss instead of lip stick because I'm fair skinned to.
Start by getting a bronzer. Apply that with a blush type of brush. Then use the bronzer as an eyeshadow!!!(apply it with an eyeshadow brush.) Put on some mascara and tinted chapstick or a light pink lipgloss and you will look like a natural beauty!!!
no one can really tell you unless they see a picture
Since your still young you don't need alot but Oh got the perfect thing for you. For blush use a very lite green and put a touch of sparkles on the lashes since your eyes are that color. Next have a medium dark pink with some lip gloss on top for your lips. And for blush a very lite peachy color. Blend it in from top of the cheek to bottom. Make sure theres more blush on top of cheek than bottom.

Don't over do the make up! Your still young.

Let me know how the look goes.
always go for a natural look and accentuate your best features
Sweetie, it doesn't sound like you even need make-up! You sound gorgeous but if you still think you want to wear make-up, I'd keep it to a minimum. Maybe some lightly colored lip gloss. A light pink would be good for your coloring - and definitely a gloss, not lipstick. If you need color in your face, try some lightly colored blush. To be honest, though, I think the gloss would be enough - especially in the summer!
Find a light shimmery shadow (shroom, naked lunch, or nylon MAC cosmetics) and dust all over your lid apply some mascara, apply bronzer to your forehead cheeks bridge of nose, chin, neck and chin all the areas the sun would naturally bronze, and apply some gloss with a slight pink tint and you would look great and very age appropriate.
first of all you have to choose a make up and powder that suits your skin type and color. the best way to match make up is when you try it on do it in natural light and try it in the inner side of your hand exactly where the palm ends. then buy a moisturizer that fits your skin type(oily, normal, dry, mixed etc).

after you have bought all that. start by cleaning your face with a facial. place a towel in your face gently. then use the moisturizer but don't over do it because you don't want to glow. then put small drops of the make up in your hand and with the other hand smoothly spread it out. when that is done, spray your face with two or three sprays from a 20cm distance from your face/ this will help the powder to stabilize better.

add a small amount of lipstick, some mascara and you are ready!!!
If your doing this to impress GUYS... they like natural.. they don't like girls who want to change their whole appearance... NATURAL IS THE WAY TO GO...
With fair skin and hair a light pink gloss, and just a little shadow in a light color works best. For dressy occasions a little glitter helps. If you want to wear eyeliner a light eyeliner makes your eye look larger and a dark one helps define it better. For blush go with something very light, because too much color on your cheeks with fair skin can look overboard.
You already sound like a beautiful person!

Make-up is good if you wish to play up some of your features but there is always a fear that you might be looking like a clown of course.

I'd go natural if I were you. Just a simple lip gloss (since it is summer), a light tinted moisturizer to balance out your skin tone, a light blush, curl your eye lashes, apply a light sheer mascara.. and of course... always wear a smile!

Always remember that what you feel inside will show outside so even if your day is looking gloomy, wear a smile! Go girl!

I wear make up to school were not allowed. Is there any natural make up tips that will help me? xoxo?

I already wear foundation.I wear make up to school were not allowed. Is there any natural make up tips that will help me? xoxo?
well natural? ummm put vaseline on your lips the night before so theyre soft and u wont need to make them look better in the morning by wearing gloss. i think concealer is more natural but if u want to use foundation aswell then put the foundation on first then the concealer looks very natural then. curl your eye lashes oh for a glow add blush or bronzer :DI wear make up to school were not allowed. Is there any natural make up tips that will help me? xoxo?
Clinique do a really good foundation that is sheer but evens out skin tone really well. It's called ';Almost make-up'; but it's quite expensive. Then wear clear mascara and vaseline on the lips. You could even put vaseline on the eye lids which brighten them
for mascara, they have a clear one.

covergirl %26amp; maybelline has clear mascaras.

but i suggest covergirl because they have better mascara brushes %26amp; won't clump.

for eyeshadows, wear natural colors like tan
use natural colors like tans and light browns. don't go crazy with blues and greens and pinks, on your eyes. use brown mascara and only put on a little. and a nude or clear lip gloss. and if you need color on your cheeks use a light bronzer.
natural...? well wear foundation...and light eye-shadow like pinks, browns and creams :) and mascara :)

    hope this helps :) x
Where lighter make-up. Lighter colors like pinks and blues. or just browns. (browns would probally be the best to go with the natural look)
A mixture of soap and water, dried with the gentle application of a warm towel to the effected areas !

I have very light complex and sensative skin.I NEED HELP! where do I find make up tips or pictures how to apply it details are below?
I would highly recommend using a cosmetic sponge to apply TruBlend foundation (do a test first to make sure you are not allergic to it seeing as that your skin is sensitive). Never rub it in just using your hand.

Eyeshadow: Stick to light pink and brown. Apply the light pink from the inside corner of your eye to about the middle of your eyelid. Then, use the other side of the applicator to apply the brown, from mid point to the end of your eyelid. Then, just alternate sides of the applicator to properly blend the 2 colors.

Eyeliner: Use a dark brown liquid eyeliner. Just take the tip of the applicator and just try to touch all of your lash roots to make your eyes look naturally smokey. Trust me it looks beautiful. Do not put this on your bottom lashes.

Mascara: Just apply black to both bottom and top sets of lashes. (If you get some mascara on your lower lid on accident, just wipe it off with a qtip)

i've got bright but light green eyes, and medium brown hair and kind of pale skin. i've tried bronzer but it makes me look orange. any one have good make up tips on what i could wear?Any one have good make up tips?
Purple eyeliner with purple eyeshadow and maybe you should get a tan or try lighter bronzerAny one have good make up tips?
Personally I feel that natural look makes a person look the best. What's your skin color, get a little lighter or darker something with a slight shimmer to draw the attention to your eyes.

For green eyes in particular I find a tiny bit of black eye liner makes the eyes really pop.

If you want to go with contrast and you look at http://teamsugar.com/files/images/color.鈥?/a> this lovely chart it says green eyes works will with red, pink, or maroon.

Try subtle and try extravagant and see what you like the best.

    =] Have fun!
a dark, forest green or khaki eyeshadow will brighten your eyes. you could also try a subtle purple.

for nighttime, gold or a brighter shade of purple will work well. purple will make yor eyes pop, because it contrasts the green.

    hope this helps
A light foundation with a little eyeliner and mascara. Dont go over board on makeup...just enhance your natural beauty with these items.

Anyone have any make-up tips for covering acne scars?

They are not really that bad, but it's for a wedding, and the bride is really paranoid about them. Are there any really good concealers out there, or any tips on make-up application which could cover them?

ThanksAnyone have any make-up tips for covering acne scars?
1-u put eye concealer exactly on the scar with a shade slightly lighter than the skin color

2-u put the usual skin foundation on all the face

3- after the foundation is a BIT dry u add powder (which is also great for the wedding for powder will absorb the sweating from the bride's face)

    * now here is a makeup professional good tip for if the scars' color are red or u have redness in ur face (as a would be pimple or a spot..), there is a special concelear it is green color (not kidding) u put on the scar then u add the foundationAnyone have any make-up tips for covering acne scars?
Dermablend is a make up that was designed for burn scars but works well with other types of blemishes as well Report Abuse

try microdermabration...its a little pricey buts works like a miracle and will actually get rid of acne scaring... Report Abuse

for the ';green'; colored concealer you can find that in the Physicians Formula, its actually good for coverage. Report Abuse

    Why cover them at all...

I'm sure your a beautiful girl and look just fine..

don't try to look unnatural. let your true beauty show!!

    Gary Report Abuse

Dab on neutrogena advanced solutions ance mark fading peel three times a week. Also try Janet Sartin undereye concealer ( I use this all over face, not just eyes) Report Abuse

I would actually advise AGAINST microdermabrasion. If you've never done it, you don't know how your skin will react.

A lot of ppl who try it, get red, blotchy faces from the irritation. And if you have sensitive skin, it can wreck havoc. Report Abuse

well, ii'm actually going through the same thing. I started to use Avon Blackhead cleanser, and toner, soo far soo good. the blackheads are leaving and my face is going back to its usually cuteness. Report Abuse

I use Revlon Colorstay foundation ! Just apply to face, it sets in seconds and use optional blush and powder to finish! Simple and cheap! You'll be shocked at how an over the counter makeup can cover! Report Abuse

Merle Norman's everlasting foundation and concealer is very good!! It may cost a little more than the Wal - Mart brand but ITS WORTH IT!!!... ( put the foundation on first and then the concealer.. the foundation holds the concealer longer so that it doesnt smear while putting on foundation.) ;)) Report Abuse

Use cocoa butter to lighten acne scars then use revlon foundation and concealer. By use cocoa butter over a period of time, this will lessen acne scars on your face and even your skin tone. Report Abuse

put some powder like a light colored blush that matches your skin tone then put a little foundation over it! Report Abuse

I work in a clinic that includes a dermatology office, and we received samples of the green, anti-reddening products (sold by Eucerin). The spot treatment works particularly well, and it's light. For a wedding, I would recommend a professional make-up artist, right?? Report Abuse

What I have found that works for me; is a long lasting make-up by Merle Norman. Don;t have scars, I do have dark cirlcles and it works great. It does require a good make-up remover, this stuff will not wear off. It makes my face feel so smooth. It even passes the sweat test. Report Abuse

Bare Ecentuals or Bare Minerals works wonders. I have problem skin myself and this makeup makes my skin look natural and airbrushed, I swear. Sephora sells starter kits for around $60, which is a huge bargain. Report Abuse

You can get a chemical peel for about 50 dollars at your local medical spa. Covering up acne is a quick, short term solution. There are many benefits to the peel, you're not only getting rid of scars but you're smoothing our your skin %26amp; eliminating fine lines. Plus, its nice to be pampered. Report Abuse

Try BareMinerals,it's a great foundation. It's power form. At first I didn't think it would provide any coverage, but it does! It feels totally natural, unlike any liquid/creme foundation. My skin feels like it can breathe, especially during the summer and while exercising. Report Abuse

u can try a good concealor.
If there is redness, get Physicians Formula green stuff, it evens out the red and makes it browner, just dab some on, let it dry a little bit, and dab off the excess. Then use concealer over it as you usually would.

    I get mine from Walmart.
I have some acne scarring and I found that Clinique Pore Minimizer is quite good at hiding them. Even though it is for hiding pores (put on under or over your foundation) it helps to hide my scars.
Max factor Revlon and Covergirl are really good products.
    Use Bare Minerals.
a green concealer stick covers red. so do that before you put on foundation and that sould take away any red spots or scars.
Hi, I actually read this really good article about it, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure:

Try mineral makeup. It is light but covers spots.

What color should I dye my hair, and any make-up tips for that hair color?

Hi...I have fair skin and my current hair color is a mix between light blonde, golden blonde, and a light brown. I never had highlighted or full color done until after I had my daughter and decided to try something different. Now the color seems like a variety of shades and I'm thinking it's time to go all one color again! I wear light pinks when it comes to make-up. Light pink eyeshadow on top/pale purple on eyelid, black eyeliner and mascara, bronzer on cheeks/chin, and lipstick...I'm really not sure right now! Used to be a glossy light pink (not dramatic, just kinda natural/pale). I'm really not sure what color would look best. Anyway, I'm wondering if I should go brunette (my natural color) or go blonde? I like my make-up (but would be willing to hear diff. ideas) so whatever goes with those colors. I have a round face, hazel eyes, and shoulder length hair. Any suggestions? Make-up tips would be great also. Thanks so much! What color should I dye my hair, and any make-up tips for that hair color?
Hmm, I just went from blonde to brown to dark blonde again too. Dark hair is really dramatic and really pretty if you have blue or green eyes. It sounds like the blonde would be cute for you, or a light brown with golden highlights. But if you're going to go one color do a dark brunette. It's stunning. I'd ditch the black eyeliner and get brown though, becuase might be kind of stark with such delicate coloring, esp. if you go blonde. Your makeup would be best suited to a blonde. A brunette would wear maybe violets on the eyes and a darker lip color. What color should I dye my hair, and any make-up tips for that hair color?
well if u were happy as a blonde then try blonde but if u want to go for a strawberry blonde so that u have a little red in there... i went to being a medium brown to a redhead and i think it looks good... i dont really wear eyeshadow but i wear eyeliner and mascara and i put a little bit of blush on and im fair skinned at the moment because its winter and i think that the way i wear it is good and i get compliments from people about it al the time... hope i helped!!!

Can you help me with some make up tips?

    Hi everybody!

Thanks for checking out my question.

I have bright blue eyes and black hair.

Do you have any make up tips for me?

I'd like a new look, but I'm fearful to change my eye shadows because any other color than neutrals seem to look silly on me because my eyes are so bright. I feel like a clown if I were to wear different colors.

Photos would be very helpful. Can you help me with some make up tips?
I have dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. What i use is nivea young tinted moisturizer, and mascara with benefit's georgia. it is a natural look but i feel confident enough because i have make-up on!

I think benefit's big beautiful eyes would look nice, but channel's graphite eye kohl pencil is a silvery, bluey colour and that look good and if you put it on your upper eyelid practically on the hair line and quite thick!

I hope this helps!!Can you help me with some make up tips?
hey just keep wearing neutral colours with a little eyeliner and mascara if you want to draw attention to your eyes for a daytime look. if you dont like wearing bright colours try making a smokey eye look with greys or dark browns if your going out but dont be affraid to wear bright colours blue eyes suit most colours so try a few different ones to see if you find one you like. hope this helps :)
brown or black...don't do white. Do a darker color. PPL will look at yr cute eyes first(I love blue eyes! im dark dark dark brown).
    Determining Your Ideal Eye Color

Many women make the unfortunate mistake of thinking eye shadow should be picked based upon your favorite color or the hues of your outfit. This couldn't be further from the truth.

Each eye color has its own unique palette of colors perfectly designed to make your eyes look gorgeous and desirable. Knowing the best eyeshadow colors for blue eyes, (or green, hazel, brown, etc.), can help you maximize your god-given eye contours and color.

Finding your ideal shades is based upon two factors – the color of your eyes and the color of your hair, skin, and other features. What may look great on a blue-eyed beauty with dark brown hair will look completely different on a redhead with baby blues. While there are plenty of resources online to help you determine your eye color's recommended shadows, be realistic and keep your overall features in mind.

[edit]The Best Eye Shadow Colors for Blue Eyes

As a general rule, those with blue eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. Many have found using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.

If you are looking for an edgier or more dramatic evening look, mixing black liner with a bright blue will give you a classic “ smoky” effect. You can also throw in some silver, fuschia, or turquoise if you are going out and want a funky nighttime feel.

Those with blue eyes have the distinct advantage of being able to wear a wide array of eyeshadow colors without a lot of mishaps. Blue eyes are agreeable to many shades, however, the ones listed above are the ones proven to be among the best.

Violets and lavenders are most recommended for those possessing a combination of baby blues and blonde hair. This is because a light purple is the most flattering for most blondes who tend to have fairer skin than those with darker hair.

You can use violet on the creases of your eyelids as well as on the lid in general. A lighter lavender above the crease will give you a more dramatic look for evenings. More neutral colors are ideal for daytime, but it's always fun to wear purple no matter what the time or season!

For those blessed with naturally red hair, brown shades will tend to work better on your blue eyes. Since your hair is already such a vibrant color, your skin tone and eyes will demand a more natural looking shadow.

Help is on the way!Tans and browns can flatter the shape and shade of your eyes without overpowering your hair or other features. In the evenings, adding a gold shimmer is a great finishing touch for those with gorgeous, fiery hair and contrasting blue eyes.

    [edit]What to Buy

So how do you hunt down that perfect eye color enhancer at your local beauty shop? There are plenty of brands to choose from, but only a few that will satisfy your desire to have the prettiest blue eyes in town.

Almay has met an impressive amount of success with their line of I-tense products. This group of cosmetics is designed to give the correct cosmetic colors to each eye color family. You can purchase eye shadow trios and mascaras specifically designed for blue, green, brown, and hazel eyes. Blue eyes will pop with this gorgeous quality makeup created to cater directly to them.

Another fabulous shadow manufacturer for blue eyes is Urban Decay. Their gold-toned “Half Baked” is ideal for those who really want to make their eyes look alluring and noticable.

Finally, MAC makes truly remarkable shadows for blue eyes. Their shadows include “Amber Lights”, which is specifically designed for those with fair skin and eyes.

thats really nice, but it would definitely take practice.
Try wearing Light green or Bright blue or rosy pink?

Blue eyes are cool cuz they suit every colour
I would suggest using a sheer pink and silvier during the day with a black liner on the eyes. Use a brown or black mascara. Use a powder or foundation if you want, and put on a ver natural blush.

At night when you want to party, try browns and blacks with black eyeliner and shimmer or sheer shadow in the corners of your eyes. use a black mascara. stay the same with foundation and blush.

The thing you want to focus on is your eyes. you want people to see how beautiful they are. The pinks and silvers work wonders for any eye color. The darker night look will make your blue eyes stand out. using black mascara will make your eyes pop more. Using the brown in the morning blends more with your eyes, making you not look over done.

I would also recommend investing in some makeup brushes and dont use the ones that they give you in the makeup packages. The brushes are very helpful when applying makeup. Make sure you have an eyeshadow and eyeliner brush. Foundation or face brush and a blush brush.

I recommed these brushes because they are soft and eco friendly: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j…
hello, i have blue eyes and i like wearing the smocky eyes look just try some black eyeshadow and try and blend it in and as well i used to have black hair and i used to wear pink lipstick i kno it sound a bit clownys but try it i think that looks nice, go on youtube and just type in make up tips there should be some good tis on there for you.x
well i have blue eyes as well and neutrals really are key. but a blue green mascara is really neat, also very pale shadows of brown gold or blue and green, and if you line youre eyes with black liner it looks so sick. hah =] like this: http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm94/…

I am looking for a kit or a godd place to buy costume make up at a good price.Iam going to be Little Bo Peep for halloween and am going for a gothic doll look any make up tips?
I think you should go with really pale skin (get light foundation), very rosy cheeks (cream blush would work best) and huge doll-like eyelashes (the biggest fake eyelashes you can find!). I would just go to Target to get these things. Costume makeup doesn't have to actually be costume makeup, the stuff at Target will probably work better than the kits at costume stores.

PS I might have to copy that idea..... :) its a good one!Iam going to be Little Bo Peep for halloween and am going for a gothic doll look any make up tips?
u could buy face crayons 4 ur face n apply lots of mascara n eyeliner with pale skin color
Sounds interesting, Try target, or be creative and use your own makeup, it's easy and cheap.
Hmm, I'm not sure if they have ';Spirit Halloween'; stores in your area. Check at your local Wal-mart, their vampire makeup sets are actually quite good. The makeup lasts a while, and the colors would be right for the look you're trying to achieve (black and white).

from Make-up Artist Robert Jones Workshop in San Diego 10/05

Very few women can wear cool shades of color cosmetics.

    Warm makes you look younger.

    Everyone can wear warm shades.

You don’t need to wear cool shades with cool color outfit.

Eyeliner – our eyeliners are waterproof

Put powder first before applying eyeliner to avoid eyeliner from running.

Our body heat heats up the pencil and that’s why during the day, it runs.

Use Fig for Violet eye pencil

    Use Storm for Charcoal pencil

If you line the bottom, you must line along the top otherwise it will make face drag, tired and old

But, if you line the top, you don’t need to line the bottom.

    Eyebrow Pencil

Difference between Classic Blonde and Blonde Eyebrow pencil:

Classic Blonde is lighter than Blonde and warmer color than Blonde

    Blonde is darker – Taupe(ier)

    You can use matte eye shadow to use as eyebrow powder;

    Powder gives more natural effect

Use power on top of pencil – lasts longer and looks more natural

For Silver Hair – use Classic Blonde or Blonde

    Brow powder is coming back

    Cheek Color

Purpose is to give color and brighten your face

Mistake-proof / Good Cheek Colors: for Ivory / Beige skin = Sunny Spice

    For Bronze skin = Brick

Sunny Spice is an improvement of Winter Rose

When selling “Discontinued items”, call it “Limited Edition” to your customers.

Duets – it is just as simple to give 2 shades for the price of 1.

Use each color separately or mix it.

    Lip Pencils

Ivory / Beige skin tone – use Neutral or Chocolate

Bronze / Ebony skin tone – Dark Chocolate

Metallic – for Beige and Darker skin tone

Apply around the natural lip line not on the lip line (in other words, apply outside of your natural lip line)

    Lipstick

Downtown Brown – made for Bronze / Ebony skin specific

How do you keep lip gloss from transferring to glass or someone else’s lips? Lick it first

Thin lips – use light shade

Big lips – use darker shade

Ivory skin – if you want to look mature, use darker color

Red – never wrong to wear it with red outfit

But, better with black, green, or other dark solid colors

Ivory skin – DO NOT INTENSE Eyes and Lips both. Only one or the other

    Concealer

    Is to conceal discoloration

The less you use, the less noticeable it is

To conceal Red, Purple, or Brown, use yellow first then other concealer

It is in tube for it is most versatile, moisturizing formula

Stick is hard to blend and wand is too sheer

Dark circles – when using concealer, blend upward, stipple by using fingers or sponge

Broken vein – brush right along vein, stipple

    Healed scar has no pores therefore, foundation may not stay on;

    Moisturize it

    Put powder

Apply concealer with brush (concealer will mix with powder then dries it)

Red and inflamed pimples? If there is no open skin, use Visine to get the red out than apply concealer

Roseasha (spell?) – Cover with layers of foundation using the “0 undertone”

    lighten it with yellow 1st

cover each dark spot, go over it again, stipple

    Do not use blush!!!

Freckles – Angel Kisses (it’s a good thing) – makes you look younger

    Apply foundation sheer layer

    Puffiness – Dark cicles

3-step process: 1) Conceal dark circles

    2) Take lighter shade of foundation than your everyday foundation

    3) Highlight recess area with lighter foundation

In December, we will get highlighters (1, 2, 3, 4) 2 will sell the most

Use this pen on recess area, stipple, done

Line around the upper mouth, stipple, done

    Loose Powder

To apply it on top of concealer, use “finger powder technique”

Loose powder is more oil absorbing than pressed powder

Dual Coverage Foundation– Okay for Dry skin (it is better than loose powder)

When used with brush – gives less coverage

When used with sponge – gives more coverage

Perfect for young teen age girls

If Dual-Coverage gets darker later during the day, blot the oil first then powder (it will prevent from shifting) It maybe better to touch up with loose powder. If skin is oily, loose powder is better than Dual-Coverage. You can take it with you in our retractable powder brush and touch up during the day.

    Foundation

Most Ivory or Beige skin works well with yellow undertone foundation i.e. ending in 00

Use pink undertone only if neck is pink

Our Med and Full Coverage foundations are “Transfer Resistant” not “Transfer Proof”

Drying time is 2 minutes and 20 seconds

Stripe Test – let it dry first to see if it is the right color

Ivory / Beige skin – stripe test from jaw to neck

Bronze skin – cheek to jar (explain the reason) ?

    Our foundation is made layer-able

If you have discoloration, layer your foundation (no matter how many layers, it won’t change color) This is better than using a concealer.

Medium coverage foundation has an oil absolver.

    Cream-To-Powder – Convenient

    Heaviest

    Doesn’t absorb oil

    Not good for oily skin

To see the color under true daylight, you may want to purchase “Clamp-On Lamp” at Lamps Plus and get “True Daylight” bulb.

Olive means – good tan color, not green

If you tan easily, use Olive undertone - 02

If pink in the face and neck – use Pink undertone – 04 or 05

To find a true undertone, look at the inside of your arm

If you tan easily – use Olive undertone

If you tan but not easily – use Yellow undertone

If you burn – use Pink undertone

There is a shade match for everyone. Wants and Needs are different

    Contour

Ivory skin – contour more than highlight

    Beige – contour more

    Bronze – highlight more

Ivory / Beige skin tone – use Bronze Sands to contour

Oval shape – You don’t need to highlight or contour

Round face – stays looking younger than other face shape

    Eyebrows

Heated wax takes away a layer of your skin

When tweezing eyebrows, pull it in the direction it grows, otherwise it may grow back straight out and will not lay down well

Should be same color as you hair color or a tone lighter

Full eyebrows need just a little fill in, use brow powder

    Eyebrow shape

Point A. Hold a pencil vertically against the side of your nose, noticing where it meets the brow. That’s where you brow should begin.

Point B. Hold the pencil against your nostril and move it diagonally across the outer half of the iris of your eye. This is the best place for the peak of your arch.

Point C. Extend it diagonally to the outer corner of your eye. That’s the best place for your brow to end.

    Bride Makeup

Morning Bride – Perfect time of the day

not a good time for someone with less than perfect skin tone

should not use purple or blue shade

    thick lashes are must

    Midday Bride – After 3 p.m.

    Sun is directly above her

Deep set eyes will create shadow

    Foundation can be dewy

False eye lashes are great option for brides this time of the day

Because of the light, much blending is a must

Late Afternoon Bride – After 4 p.m. (when sun starts to set)

    The most beautiful bride

When taking the picture, look toward the light

    Dramatic colors are okay

Evening Bride – Can wear as much make up she wants

    Shimmering color – OK

Never use frost color in photograph

Only time of the day – can wear smoky eye (when doing so, must wear softer lip color) *** even Bronze skin tone

Tan skin photograph better than pale skin

How do you get your foundation last longer?

    Apply moisturizer

    Let it dry

Take tissue, blot nose, t-zone, any area that gets shiny

    Apply foundation

    Powder with loose powder

Matte skin photographs better than shiny skin

How to get eye shadow to last longer?

Eye primer – absolves oil from eye lid

    Concealer

    Loose powder

    eye color

Mascara – Layer with waterproof mascara last – now it’s waterproof

Lipstick – never dark color lipstick unless that’s her everyday color

    * * If darker lipstick is used, use softer eye color

    Bridesmaids

    Intensity must match

Bridesmaid can’t be more made up than the BrideDo you have any make-up tips for my outdoor wedding?
make sure you use waterproof makeup
Well, I'm sure your mom knows all of this, but give these tips a try:

Apply a makeup base to your face before foundation. Sephora has a few excellent ones to try. Use a foundation like Loreal Infallible or Revlon Color Stay. USE POWDER so it keeps it on and keep tissues nearby to gently pat your face if you begin to sweat a bit. Don't run, just blot. Buy the Vitamin E face spritz from the Body Shop and have one of your bridesmaids spritz you once in a while to keep you looking fresh. Congrats! You'll look great!
well jsut don't wear nothin to dark. don't wear a lot of eyeliner and eye shadow. wen its a weeding look bright
Your wedding is next week and you don't already have this figured out? Hire a makeup person, if that's not an option, use bare mineral makeup since it doesn't get nasty in the heat.
try a spf foundation and sweat proof also anf you might try a water proof mascarra
nothing liquid, and use waterproof stuff, just in case.
    yes i have some
The powdered mineral makeups hold up well in heat. L'Oreal makes one call Bare Naturale that covers well but still looks very natural.
I've always been fond of stark white foundation accompanied by a shiny red nose and horn to boot.
i heard that u shouldn't use glitter because when u take the photo's it will show up as little white dots. i had an outdoor wedding and it was so damn hot. my make-up was just normal make up and i was OK. don't forget sunblock and congratulations.
youngblood or baremineral because it has a spf in it and it will not run like regular makeup u can find it online and see if there is anywhere avavliable in ur home town. its great makeup and being so hot it will not sweat off. congrats on the wedding and good luck!!!!
    prepare for all weather lol
Have a professional do it! One less thing for you to worry about.

Make-up tips to make eyes look brighter/more awake/younger?

I'm 26 female; I don't get enough sleep so I end up looking more tired with make up on, I just put some gold eyeshadow in the corners and black mascara with pencil eyeliner on bottom lid.

Do you have any tips to make eyes look brighter, less tired and perhaps younger? A lot of people guess that I'm older than I am, I guess my eyes look older :)Make-up tips to make eyes look brighter/more awake/younger?
Apply your other basic make-up like foundation, blush and your lip wear.

Dab a bit of foundation under your eyes that is a shade lighter than your skin shade. This will make your eyes instantly brighter.

Create a smoky eye look with eyeshadow (that's a darker shade closer to your eye and adding lighter shades all the way up to your brow, and for this effect the color under your brow should be white).

Apply a white eyeliner on your waterline. This is the number one tip to making your eyes appear wider and more awake! It will instantly make your eyes bigger. You can find white eyeliner at almost any drug store or makeup store that you'd buy your other makeup at.

Apply a mascara that makes your eyelashes look longer, not fuller. Making them longer will give your eyes a better ';awake'; effect than making them fuller will. Making them fuller will just make your face look too dramatic.

If your eyes are a bit red when you wake up, use some cooling eyedrops.

    Tips

If you add a small amount of shimmer powder under your eyes, your eyes will look 10 times brighter! It's a great effect!

It might be a good idea to make a thin line of a dark eyeliner under the white eyeliner if it looks a bit strange.

    Warnings

If you try to apply a dark colored eye shadow with the white eyeliner, you'll probably come out looking plain odd becuase your eyes will look bigger but too dramatic. You want your eyes to be softer as well!

    Things You'll Need

    lighter eyeshadow

WHITE EYELINER!!! [pencil on the lower lash line]
I use two products from Avon. I use Anew Ultimate Eye at night and also a product called Lighten Up when I have the darker circles. This really helps my makeup not to be so heavy around the eyes because it evens the skin tone before I put on makeup. You can order those things online and they only charge you $3 for shipping, no matter how much you order!
Use foundation just a shade lighter (don't get too light or you end up with the reverse 'raccoon' eyes look) on and under your eye. This will also help eye makeup stay put. Then dust under lashes with a shimmery shadow in a nude, gold, or pale pink. Stay away from greys and purples.

at night, when you get home, put a cool compress on your eyes for 10 minutes or so, wash your face and MOISTURIZE!
I have always bought foundation that was 1 to 2 shades lighter then my skin tone, and use it just underneath and around my eye. This helps to hide dark circles and even hide some rinkles. Just dont go over top of that with your regular foundation =)

Also, if you get a light color, almost wite or a light tan color eyeshadow and put that right under your bottom eye lid, and right above your eyeliner on the top lid, it also helps to make your eyes appear brighter.

Stay away from dark colored eye shadows that will make your eyes look smaller and tired.

    Hope it helps =)
keep your moisturizer refridgerated... Apply it to the puffiness in or around your eyes... then using a flat yellow or pale white shadow under your lower lid will brighten your eyes... The cold cream, will bring down the swells of your eyes and put the skin in shock mode, and will reduce the puffy look and capilaries from coming to the top of the skin....

Apply the same shade to the center most corner of your eye as well to waken up the upper lid...

Appy all other make-up as usual.
    Hi there!

Sweep a bit of white eyeshadow right under your eyebrow (on the brow bone). It does wonders to make you look more rested!

Also, you can try using a small amount of white eyeliner in the corners of your eyes, close to your tear ducts, this also helps to give you a brighter and more youthful appearance.

Try to steer clear of shimmery shadows on your eyelids, because the shimmer tends to settle in the skin folds and makes your eyelids look crinkly and heavy.

You may want to try some light tans and pale pinks (matte, not sparkly) as well.

    Hope this helps!! :)
Listen to the girl above me and Clinique has a good kind.

Mine is actually ';gold'; and works great.

Also, like a white creamy shadow pencil below the lash line helps.
dark eyeshadow makes them look bigger too much outliner makes them look smaller
well, from what everybody told me is that if you want to open your eyes or try and make them look brighter you should wear a lighter color eye liner/eyeshadow. (I have blue eyes.) From what i discovered is to try and match the color you are wearing. Or apply a lighter eye shadow and when you do put it all over the eyelid and just so its under your eyebrow. It also helps to put it out towards your outer eye some. Then it looks even better if you put a eyeliner that is about the same color as your eyeshadow most of the times. If you apply Two or Three colors of eyeshadow on, make sure to always put the lightest color in the inner eye part. I usually wear like a pinkish or a lighter blue colors. I always wear warmer colors most of the time. Well, i hope this info will help you out a bit!!! GOOD LUCK!!
put white liner on the bottom, cark liner emphasizes dark circles.keep using the mascara but only on top..it open up your eyes
Get some liquid eyeliner and put it along your top lid with a slight flick out to the side. Makes your eyes look alot bigger :)

And get eyelash curlers. They make your eyes look bigger as well :)
Use white eyeliner. Put a cream based eye shadow a similar color to you're skin on you're eyelid, and underneath it.
if you want an 'instant brow lift' use benefits 'high beam' just under your eyebrows it makes them look much higher up and younger. Eyebrows are very important as they frame the whole face!!
