Make up tips for acting in a greek play?

My final performance at school is ';the love of the nightingale';. As it is baised on a Greek myth, and it is on stage so the make up has to be put on a bit thicker, i wonderd if anyone had any ideas for this?Make up tips for acting in a greek play?
I would use normal stage makeup unless your director wants specifically different stuff for it to be more Greek. A girl asked a question about makeup a while ago, and here's what I said:

I have used for all my shows for about a year and the results are always great (I learned from a pro. makeup artists, who has done a lot of artists like Jennifer Lopez, so I trust her).

1. foundation matching your skin tone (so the rest goes on easier. yes, even put in on your eyelids, the outside of your ears, and around your neck so you don't look like you're wearing makeup)

2. blush (not too red, a little goes a long way. smile, lightly stroking from the apple of your cheek to your ear)

3. powder (translucent or matching your skin tone, to set the blush)

4. eyeliner (brown if you want a natural look, under the eye and along the lid. try to do it in one fluid stroke)

5. eyeshadow (neutral/tan on the lid, a darker brown in the crease, and a paler tan lighter than your skin tone from the top of the lid to the brow. if you want to make your eyes look bigger, also apply the light color under your eye. and make sure the eyeshadow doesn't have sparkles)

6. mascara (hold and wiggle the brush outwards. it's best to use a curved brush)

7. lipstick (put chapstick on first, so the color lasts longer. pick a pinky shade, one that looks natural with your color)

You might look a little bit like a whore in real life, but it's perfect for stage and gives you a natural, youthful look!Make up tips for acting in a greek play?
