Girls, or maybe Guys: Any pretty good make-up tips?

Girls or guys, can you please give me some make-up tips? like make-up tips for my eye-lids and bottom eyes?Girls, or maybe Guys: Any pretty good make-up tips?
After I line my lower lashes, I put liner on my top lid and blend it on my lid with my finger. It almost looks like eyeshadow but stays on all day. Clear mascara is great on lower lashes.Girls, or maybe Guys: Any pretty good make-up tips?
thi clinique stuff that makes it so your eye liner and eye shadow dosnt smear or clump or make a crease in you eye. it just holds it in place. it pretty much works mericales.
Keep it light. You are doing it right if people don't notice that it's there.
the best advice you can ever take is dont put on too much people will think you have a black eye as if you got beat up! i really cant give you anymore tips because i dont use make up im naturally beautiful! But one thing never to forget is yo lip gloss!
dont sleep with your make up on! trust me!
a little is a lot
use black mascrea, then do the smoky eyes.

first put a tan shadow all over your eyelid and brow bone

then out a brown shadow over your eyelid. not the brow bone

then put a black shadow on your lower lash line
make it light on the eyes it makes it look that you have more on than you actually have.
light black eyeliner and for eyeshandow. a color a little darker than your eyes, but a dif. color. if your eyes are gren, you want a blue. you might want a glossier type eyeshadow.. if you want blush, use a color slightly darker than your skin.

Ah. Well. Its all about pratice. Eventually, you should get your mom to get you to a department store and have them do it for you professionally; makes all the difference in the world.

Until then: the most dramatic makeover is getting eyebrows tweezed. It should be done as a line or two lines, and have it first done professionally. http://www.cosmeticcop.com/learn/article鈥?/a>

Okay, that done, there is foundation. You need a foundation brush and liquid foundation for best results. Cheepest foundation brush solution: get a similar one at an arts and crafts store. With acne, or without, it makes all the difference. Go to a department store and find one. Then buy an animal hair brush, similiar texture, print out make up brush photo, and cut it like that. The one below is $32.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

Brushes are usually more expensive than the make up.

First things first, use a toner to get out oil, reduce acne. Then apply moisterizer- ALWAYS. It acts like a glove on your face so foundation lays smoothely and doesn't get into pores. Wait for 3 minutes or so for your face to suck it in. Then, dab cotton to remove extra.

http://beauty.about.com/cs/greatmakeup/h鈥?/a>

http://anina.typepad.com/photos/uncatego鈥?/a>

Apply from cheekbones to nose. Apply with brush across forhead and down ones, and so on. Every face is different so you have to try it several times until it works and there are no marks.

If your skin is beautiful, you don't need it. If you have acne, you get a green conceler and cover red spots with it. Then you have regular conceler for acne not bright red. you put green under your foundation. acne still visible, use the light conclear with brush, then use foundation again if nessisary.

Oh IMPORTANT. If you buy make up in a store. the color is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in daylight, so walk outside the mall and see it before you buy.

As for eyes. There is masacra. You could aslo use a brown eye pencil. Closing your eyes and spraying your face with hairspray keeps it there.

On eye pencil http://www.tutorials.com/06/0625/0625.as鈥?/a>

For lips, use tinted lipgloss, nothing is sexier.

Good luck!

About being pretty: its not make up that makes women look pretty. Its being groomed. That means taking a shower, coming your hair, getting a good hair cut, styling it for 5 minutes but not more (too much looks like you try too hard; tacky to use evening looks for morning). Wear nice ironed matching clothes that alternate between tight and revealing. You wear a tight shirt, then pants are a bit baggy, etc. If you wear shorts or a short skirt, don't wear a low cut top, and if you wear a low cut top, no shorts or short skirt. Tacky. You master elegance, try something crazy, but tone it down, never go for excess.

More importantly, beauty comes from within, inner confidence. Ugly confident girls get a lot more guys than pretty shy ones. I was the pretty shy girl. So you have to do something that makes you feel imporant and special to find inner beauty, that you can see outside immediately. That comes from finding something bigger than you, like freeing prisoners from torture and being active in amnesty. Helping at a homeless shelter or elderly home. Helping at elderly home is best. When you see these old people need you and its just not the same without your company, you start to feel really good about yourself. When that happens, you immediately start to look prettier, find prettier clothes make up. Its amazing. Guys start to notice you, because there is just something about you. They want to discover the secret. You have this mona lisa sexy smile, you did something great, they want to figure out what. It turns out that your letter with amnesty saved a person's life and freed a prisoner. Try to be beautiful, inside and out.

Ugly people are selfish and care only about themselves. Beautfiful people put others above themselves. If you are mature and kind and they are childish and mean, cut them out of your life. Audrey Hepburn is a lot more beautiful than Paris Hilton, right? She was a human rights activist, and hilton is trying to get herslef out of jail.Make up tips for a starter? How to apply [pic included] (other tips are welcome too) ( hair tips if possible)?
I would only go with sheer lip stick or gloss. Your features are already great.
you are already very pretty so you dont need much makeup.use a coal (almost black) coloured eye liner for a more natural look, rim your top and bottom lashes with this (a thin line, dont lloook too made up) a light pink eye shadow woudl look pretty on your eyes, or a shimmery brown. use a bronzy colour as blush. keep lips natural for every day, but you can always use a purpley colour when you go out. Finsih with a couple coats of black mascara and dont forget to use an eye lash comb so there are no clumps! good luck!
wow u r beautiful.

To create a discreet look, just a few make-up tools are enough. Two musts are mascara and lip-gloss, the latter being especially trendy right now, adds Bruene.

Girls who have little practice in applying make-up can achieve a big impact with little effort by using lip-gloss. Unlike lipstick, lip-gloss does not require the mouth to be prepped with powder or lined before it is applied.

';Lip-gloss is easy to apply quickly in the school yard,'; remarks Kreuels.

';Cautiously'; is how beauty experts say girls should apply eyeliner. Heavy black lines can make the eyes look small. To avoid this, try out eyeliner in a discreet brown, Kreuels suggests. A little bit of colour under the eye or on the eyelid is enough to create an expressive look.

Experts also recommend lighter tones in eye shadow. In early spring, pastel tones are especially popular, says Bernard. Finding the right tone of eye shadow can determine an entire outfit.

Teenagers usually can do without a heavy foundation. A day cream with a bit of colour in it or a compact powder is usually more than enough for young skin.

You're a very pretty girl already. I'd go really easy if I were you, you don't need much.

One thing, I think you might like a tinted lip balm instead of lip gloss or lipstick. It will add a little color which is all you need and will keep you're lips healthy and it feels good. Try a berry or dark pink.

I think you should skip blush and foundation and powder, you're skin is great already. Just use a little black mascara and a wash of eyeshadow color if you want. You could try a bronze eyeshadow, just don't use too much unless you're going to a party or something.

If you want to use bright or dark colors, try nail polish. Its fun and you can play with colors you'd never wear on your face.
Wow you have very sweet features, very pretty eyes. You just need a little colour and highlights to brighten your face. Silver for your eye lids would look sweet, Don't need the eye linger cos the silver would bring out your eyes. A nice gloss would do for your lips,.. don't need drama makeup cos you're just going to school =)

What are some cute make-up tips?

What are some cute ways to put on make-up at the age of 13?

On my birthday which is when I am turning 13 I want a cute simple of cute nice way to do my make-up.

Don't be afraid to suggest lipstick, lipgloss or lipliner or anything else.

Thanks! %26lt;3What are some cute make-up tips?
Go to Rimmellondon.com...they have great tips, from simple to smokey eyes to bold and wild...see what you like! What are some cute make-up tips?
I think eyeliner looks GREAT on the the bottom of the eyelid!! I know this sounds weird, but i use dark purple eyeliner!! It looks AWESOME!! Mascara is really GOOD LOOKING if you put it on your top and bottom lashes!! Brown eyeshadow looks cool too!! but i wouldnt were too much make-up or you'll look HORRIBLE!! Dont were blush either! Or foundation! unless you have bad skin!!
the maybelline dream mouse eyeshadow in lavender(or whatever color you think suits your face), some sheer pink lipgloss, and some black eyeliner( the line extended a little past where your lid ends)
I'm 13, and I got complimented a lot on my makeup when I first started because I got tips on how to do mine. I've been wearing makeup for about a year now. I'll share my own tips with you, hope they help!!!

To give your face a tanned look, apply a small bit of bronzer on your cheeks, chin, hairline, and just between your eyes. If you dont want the tanned look, you can put a little bit of pink blush right on your cheeks for a rosy look. Use a brown mascara, you really cant tell the difference. I wouldnt wear eyeliner or eyeshadow, but if you do apply a light and natural bit of both. Use a sparkling ip gloss. Hope this helps!
your still young but you should still look pretty. i would go with a light colored eyeshadow. not too much cause you don't wanna look trashy. no eyeliner yet. wait a few more years. but use some mascara and a pretty lip gloss.... that's not over doing it yet you still will loOk pretty !!
I like to wear a nice bright eye liner on the top part of my eyes, (like bright aqua-blue) and then use a volume packed mascara on the top lashes (usually black). I also have some cool silver liquid liner that i put on the place wear your bottom and top lid meet, i don't know how else to describe it, lol =) refer to my amazingly accurate eye diagram: %26lt;0%26gt; the pointy part on the out side. I think it looks pretty cool =3 Also, a nice clear lip gloss looks nice =) Just don't pile on a pound of dark eye make up, that can look scary....
First and foremost, for your age, less is more. Don't overdo! Go with neutral colors on eyes, brown eye liner and brown/black mascara. Go try on a few colors for lips before buying to get the right shade for you, then buy a slightly darker lip liner.

For evening wear, it's ok to go a little darker due to lighting.
A lot of girls your age think that they are old enough to be wearing a lot of different types of make up. But the reality is that you are just getting out of your child stage, which means that you're growing up at a quick pace. If you are going to try out make up, don't put too much, because the people around you will see drastic changes. Go bit by bit. And don't use a lot. For starters, you can try using eye shadow. Then slowly move to eyeliner, then mascara. Lipgloss is awesome for almost any age. I think I started using lipgloss when I was pretty young. I think I first started using lipgloss when I was 10? Don't start out with lipstick, because that's being too bold. If you want color, try using different colored lipglosses. They are better for your age. Lipliner should only be put on when you are using lipstick. If you think that you are old enough to be using lipstick and lipliner, I definetly cannot stop you. But just ehar me out, It's too old for your age. Lipgloss is great also! I'd pick lipgloss over lipstick ANY day. I'm 14, and even though our ages are similar, theres a huge stage between them. Lipgloss is the best. It's like my best friend lol. But before you try all this, make sure to talk it over with your parents so they are okay with it. Hope this helped hun! Oh, and I hope you have a great birthday also! xo
Just don't make yourself look like the Joker and you'll be fine.
always wear your make up natural.

for school have mascara, soft blush, lite eyeshadow, brown eyeliner on the top eye only.

for a dance or party, you should have your make-up a little darker %26amp; the eyeliner on the bottom too, just not too dark!

remember make-up is 'sapposta enhance your features, not cover it up.

Any make-up tips for pale skin?

I have quite pale skin, light golden blonde hair and icy blue eyes. Has anyone got any make-up tips?

I don't want to look like a clown or a slapper.

Thanks xAny make-up tips for pale skin?
I am somewhat close to your coloring. I use a liquid foundation with moisturizer (good that soaks into the skin) and then a foundation 1\2 shade darker than mine. Then blend really well.

I also use browns and tans as eye shadow and line my eyes using slim brush with the eye shadow too.

I think your skin looks best when very natural makeup is done. You're about 5% of the population. Plus - BIG plus; you'll never get wrinkles like some of us who bake in the sun.

I have freckles and in the winter I'm very white. But your coloring is simply amazing. You'll always stand out in a crowd (in a good way). Good luck.Any make-up tips for pale skin?
if your wanting foundation, then go to prescriptives make up counter and they'll find a good match for your skin so you look orange or peachy. Only prob with them is there about 拢20 a bottle, other brands do just as good foundation just be sure to go outside and check its the right colour in the natural light.

Ese everything in moderation if you don't wanna look like a slapper. They always say a pick a contrasting eyeshadow colour to eye colour so maybe neutral tones would suit you. See if you can get a little cheap eyeshadow palette and experiment, and then any colours that you like you can go buy quality ones.

Also a bit of black mascara and smokey kohl eyeliner could look good with your blue eyes.

Hope you find a look you like! Be proud to be pale too!
I'm the same- I have papery white skin, baby blond hair and marine eyes.

It might sound cheap, but the best (and lightest colour) foundation I've found is by Barbara Daly for Tesco, but a little goes a very long way. Concealer and powder wise, Rimmel is great.

If you wear foundation on your cheeksdon't forget to put some blush on your them, as you'll end up looking like a ghost, or ill.

Go for baby pink or neutral brown or gold(ish) eyeshadow, as they will add definition to the shape of your eyes and will compliment the colour of your skin.

Brown eyeliner and mascara work best as black can leave you looking like a goth.

Red lip balm (not lipstick- this is too full on for day-to-day), will look gorgeous on pale skin.

But remember, with pale skin especially, less is more!

    Hope it helps!
It's great that you're proud to be pale, I have the same colouring as you except I have green eyes. For daytimes I just use tinted moisturiser just to make my skin glow and Natural Collection at Boots is cheap and doesn't darken your skin, just covers up any flaws and gives your skin a glow. I use black mascara because my eyelashes are quite dark but use brown if yours are lighter, then I use a little bit of brown eyeliner around my lash line smudged so it's not an obvious line, it just gives it some definition and makes your eyes stand out. On nights, I use black kohl pencil or liquid eyeliner all round my eyes because being so pale it makes a really dramatic contrast with my skin. Use loads of mascara with it too for a really striking effect.
    heya ,I'mm the same as u ..blonde..blue eyes..pale =]

so after ages experimenting, here'ss what iv come up with!

start of with a moisturiser (with spf)

apply foundation evenly and slightly down neck *so u dnt hav the fake *mask* look lol *

use a blusher brush to apply bronzer (i found blusher looks really clowny on us pales) to cheekbones, head and nose, this is where the sun wud naturally hit your face.

Use a brown eyliner to go right around the eye, and then a few layers of brown mascara.

maybe evan a light dusting of brown eyeshadow?

then for the final touch a natural shade of lipgloss !

    =]

    xxx

well the number one thing you have to do is protect it using SPF. its really good to use bare minerals, and just dont put on too much. for eye shadow its good to have a ';POP'; of color. go to MAC cosmetics and they will help ya out with some good blush and eyeshadow.
well i would say foundation but it says you dont really wana use the stuff.

Why dont ya get some blusher, i have a ';boutique'; one from superdrug that costs about 拢8 but its worth the money

    hope this helps

*tell me if it does or not*
I have light golden blonde hair and blue eyes too and I use jergans tinted moisturizer and I look great now :] I used to be super pale. And wear dark brown eyeliner, dark brown mascara, and blue eyeshadow it looks amazing
use a bronzer were the sun would naturally hit your face (cheeks, nose, forhead) to just brighten up your complection a little bit, and try using green eyeliner or shadow, it brings out blue eyes and really makes them pop
Before putting on make up, use st tropez light tan lotion. It shades your skin gradually, and allows a natural looking golden look to build slowly.
    bronzer: )

    pleaseeee answer mine!: )

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
Pale pink blusher! Apply it lightly to your cheek bones and gradually build it up - bit of colour in your cheeks goes a long way. You dont wanna look like youre dead!!
    get in the sun.

Best make-up tips for eyes, founation, and everything else inbetween?

I would just like to have a new way of putting on my make-up and try something new for once.... ty to anyone that repliesBest make-up tips for eyes, founation, and everything else inbetween?
    Firstly - Keep is simple.

Foundation - work from the nose outward in a patting motion - to avoid streaks, set with powder if oily

Lips - a little bit of gloss is the most attractive, try gloss with a tint for a bit of colour.

Eyes - Always go for a good mascara to contour and enhance the eyes. Eyeshadows - light colours bring features forward - dark colours push them back. Try a little bit of shimmer in the pocket of your eye closest to your nose.

Mist your face with rosewater for a dewy fresh look and

lastly smile - that always makes a face look 100% better and shows some soul :)Best make-up tips for eyes, founation, and everything else inbetween?
Well, Lexie was not very nice, was she? I would report abuse (that little button below the answer... About your question - buy any (and I mean any) glossy magazine (InStyle, Red, Cosmo, MarieClaire,...) - there are ALWAYS plenty of up-to-date techniques of make-up; with pics and all
Put it on lite. Really lite. Just to compliment, not slather.
just look at photos.. go to the makeup section in big shopping stores and have a look at the ads.. grab a catalogue if available. even do a google search of makeup.. use key words of what you like? yeah i donno hey

Can you give me any make-up tips?

I want to look fresh and pretty, not cakey and over done.. but at the same time, not tired. Any secret tips?!Can you give me any make-up tips?
hey...couple things...if you apply a liquid cover up...try doing it with a brush...it makes a BIG difference...i dont know much about you but...mascara always works...and a little bit of eye shadow...Blues and Greens for light skin...reds and oranges for dark skin...a light lip gloss and that should be all you need...i hope i helped....sory for any spelling mistakes...and if its not alot its mainly cuz i dont know alot about what you look like...but GOOD LUCKCan you give me any make-up tips?
The secret is a good skin care product. you have to start with the canvas before you paint it! Microdermabrasion products are a really great way to have smooth flawless skin. Moisterise and yeah keep the foundation coverage to a cream to powder finish. I use and sell Mary Kay, Hope this helps you.
Chilled spoons on eyelids gets rid of tiredness, although ideally you wouldn't be tired b/c you had plenty of rest!

Try mineral make up because it looks really light. Also, Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse foundation is supposed to be really light feeling but has good coverage.

Make sure you blend well, and don't just stop at the neck. It's really obvious when people have a face of one color and a neck of a different color.

Curl eyelashes for instantly alert eyes.
    Here is what I do:

I use a bit of liquid concealer to rub underneath my eyes to get rid of the bags and dark circles. To make your eyes look more open, use a bit of black eyeliner, not TOO much, and put it on the top. Do not apply to the bottom. If you do this and blend it well, it will not look cakey.

My eyelashes arent very dense or thick or long =[ any home remedies or make up tips??

i have all the top mascaras and fibre lash building mascara's but i still cnt acheive anything special at all=[ should i give up?? does any1 have any tips??My eyelashes arent very dense or thick or long =[ any home remedies or make up tips??
Try Ardell Lash and Brow growth conditioner. It's about $4-5 dollars at Rite-Aid in the Cosmetics section; it's done wonders for me and many other people! I've been using it nightly for about a year, and my lower lashes are a little bit longer than the length of my TOP LASHES before I began using Ardell. As for my top lashes... almost double the length and thickness. :)My eyelashes arent very dense or thick or long =[ any home remedies or make up tips??
Use an eyelash curler BEFORE you apply mascara, never after. Then do a coat of lengthening mascara, and let it dry. Do another coat, but with thickening mascara.
if u want long term effects buy SILICAE- from HUBER its a supplement from silicon-natural silicon. we need silica to help skin, hair and nails. u can get silica from the food that u eat but its not strong enough to do the job properly. Huber's Silicae is 100% natural very good for body. also helps digestion. im chinese and we have very crap lashes! lol, after 1month of silica my hair grewl longer%26amp;thicker! when i noticed my lashes improved thats wen i know the product really woked! i drink it now religiously everyday! if u not sure google it! and u can read the benefits for yourslf! :)
Lash Lengthener- will grow them long. Mine seem slightly more thicker, but longer is more apparent.

    Some oil used by geisha
the blood of the innocent, the tears of the guilty, and BREATH OF AN ANGEL.
get fake eyelashes, they look hot!
Ignore comments about putting Vaseline on your eyelashes!!

It may appear to work for awhile....But is VERY harmful to your lashes, or if any gets in your eyes!! It also will clog your pores.

Olive or Castor oil however work amazing!!
you should use an eyelash curler before using mascara it makes they look a lot bigger.

make sure you hold it on your lashes for about 5 seconds and do it about 3 times to make sure there nice and curled.

    it works for me! :]
Try getting an eyelash curler. It will make eyelashes look extra nice. Use BEFORE you apply mascara, otherwise you're weakening the lashes or pulling them out all together.

Next, try a mascara with a comb; they work better for people with lashes like your's.

Go to bed with a little bit of vaseline of them to strengthen them and moisturize them.

For really special events, you can use false lashes, but other than that, don't worry about it too much. They are afterall such a small part of you :)
put vasaline on them every night for a week.
use covergirl lash blast after you curly your eyelashes for 5-10 seconds each. Use a dark liner to line the whole inside of your bottom lid. Then after curling put the mascara on your eye lashes as close to the beginning of the lash as possible.

I am going to prom this year and need some hair and make up tips.?

I will be wearing a black strapless dress with green accents. help me out guys! I have a fairly pale complection, rosy cheeks, and light brown hair.I am going to prom this year and need some hair and make up tips.?
For your hair, do a poofed side pony tail, curled and clipped with a pretty green clip. For makeup, just go with green eyeshadows, try mixing and going light to dark or something. Do eyeliner, and mascara. Try a pink blush and a little bit of lip gloss and you will look great!

have fun!I am going to prom this year and need some hair and make up tips.?
if youve got good shoulders or if your dress is long, i think you should go to a salon for a good updo.

if youve got good hair or if your dress is short, i think you should leave your hair down, but still go to a salon for some nice curls and waves.

as for makeup, if your dress is very simple, go for some makeup that bring out the green accents in your dress.

if your dress is loud and out there, go for some simple makeup that will make your skin look very glowy, simple, but glamorous.

    have fun!

Hi, I need some make up tips for the evening?

    Right, few points...

    **Its a valentines ball

    **Its in the evening

**I Can do some make up

**I want to mainly emphasise my eyes

Any make up tips will be appreciated :)

Thank you xHi, I need some make up tips for the evening?
Coral Blue #2 Semigloss LipstickHi, I need some make up tips for the evening?
Start with a base coat of a neutral shade - this should go all over your eyelid and right up to your brows so not too heavy!

You'll need a further two colour shades - one dark and one lighter (but darker than the base coat you just put on)

Use the lighter colour first and apply this to your eye lids. Start at the outside of your eye and bring the brush along the bottom of your lid.

Now using the same colour, take the brush again from the outside of your eye over the top of the eye socket - not all the way to the brow - but it should show when you open your eye. Essentially, you are making a sideways 'V' here. Use your brush to really blend the colour with the base coat.

Now use the darker colour and a thinner brush or applicator to apply around the outside of your lids - instead of eyeliner. Smudge in the colour. With a bit of mascara - you should have one pair of lusciously smokey smoldering peepers.

With a base coast of foundation / powder, a little blush on your cheeks (always apply blush from the outside of your face in - so if there is any excess it goes in your hairline - not on your cheek!) and some lippy and you'll be away.

On me, this works best using a light silver for the base coat (non glossy) then darker silver and deepest grey - but you can alternate with what ever colours suit you best.

    Have a lovely time!
obviously it depends on the colour scheme of your outfit but if you want to emphasise your eyes use a volume boosting mascara or fake lashes if youve worn them before... if not steer clear. use eyeliner but not liquid just a normal pencil and a subtle eyeshadow maybe not pink because under a certain light it may make your eyes look a bit puffy. use a very light shade (or clear) lipgloss
Line your eyes with black liner thicker on the bottom and thin on the top. Wear grey eyeshadows and make it smoky (dark on the the outside corners gradually turning lighter up top the center of the lids). Use several coats of mascara and use blush and a nude lip color (:
use eyeliner on your water line, and you top lash.. use more than whats used in the day, coverup if you have acne, mascara, and some subtle eyshadow.
Some red lipstick, (or if you don't want to wear that) pink lip glose. Light pink eyeshadow and a foundation that'll match your skin tone.

Hope you enjoy your evening! :)

Make up tips and tips for taking college pictures?

okay I'm 18 and now that I'm graduating from college i wanna make a splash with a bit of make up. i don't ever wear make up. usually it ends up with me poking my eye out or looking like a clown. my hair is short and black with a side bang and my skin tone is like mid brown.

and I'm not blessed with the photogenic gene. so any tips so that i don't look like a clown on my big day?

    please and thank you

:)Make up tips and tips for taking college pictures?
If you have tan skin, it usually looks good to have golden tones for the eyeshadow. Hope this helps! :DMake up tips and tips for taking college pictures?
Keep to neutral colours with a hint of colour and you can't go wrong. Take your time and sit down so you don't poke your eye out. Some black mascara and brown eyeshadow would look nice. You could also wear a little bit of lipgloss with a light colour tint to it.
Just ask a friend who usually wears makeup. If my friend asked me I'd be super excited. Trust me it's the best way to go when you suck at makeup.

Make-up tips for stage to make American look Chinese?

Im doing makeup for the local highschool's play. In the play alot of the characters are suppose to be Chinese. But alot of them are American. I was just wondering if anybody had some highlighting and lowlights tips to help change the way their facial features appear... It being a highschool play we are on small budget.. so i just need little ideas to help! ANYTHING WILL HELP! thanks so muchMake-up tips for stage to make American look Chinese?
I did a show where I had to look more Asian, but from an imperial time - more Sho-gun than naturalistic. We used liquid latex to cover our eyebrows and drew more diagonal ones on with black eyeliner. It worked well. BE VERY CAREFUL if you're going to use liquid latex near your eyes! If you are at all nervous about it, don't use it. People with fair eyebrows won't need the latex. You can just draw new eyebrows.

Tip for removing liquid latex from eyebrows: Get the water very cold and wash your face. Use cold compresses to loosen the latex. Spirit gum will also work but the cold water removal worked better for me.Make-up tips for stage to make American look Chinese?

Have any good make-up tips for me?

I am a young teenager who has just started to wear make-up, but does not know what colours and what to wear.

Eyes: My eyes are blueish-greyish-greenish. My eyelashes are pretty normal. Eye liner and mascara makes me develop even darker circles under my eyes.

Face: My skin does not break-out really at all, and it is very fair. I have not got freckles. I am mostly British, but have parts of German and Italian in me. I have small dark circles under my eyes, but otherwise, my skin colour is very even.

Lips: My lips are pretty normal. I am afraid of wearing anything super bright, and I prefer gloss.

Hair: I have got shoulder-length dark brown hair that is super thick, but frizzy.

I hope you can help! Have any good make-up tips for me?
You should probably just keep it natural and fresh. You don't seem like you need any hardcore foundations or anything like that. If you do buy foundation, choose one that blends in with your natural skintone well. A good choice is L'Oréal True Match or CoverGirl TruBlend. Use the foundation more like a concealer-- only apply it where it is needed. Smooth in a sheer layer of powder. Loose powder is a better idea because it goes on much lighter than pressed powder. A powder brush is also helpful to keep your face natural. If you're having a hard time choosing the right color, try L'Oréal True Match. Next to the bottles, you will find a color swatch card that helps you choose which color matches your own. Put it over your forearm, hand, neck, or jawline and pick the one that seems to disappear over your skin.

For your eyes, try a clear mascara or a waterproof mascara. That way, it won't smudge on your skin. Clear mascara isn't very noticeable, so if you want something that with define your lashes, try a waterproof mascara. My favorite is CoverGirl Fantastic Lash. If you want a natural and healthy look, try CoverGirl Natural Lash Clear Mascara or Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara.

Since you like lipgloss, try something that doesn't have a lot of color. Lip Smackers are a great for a natural shine with no added color. CoverGirl Smoothwear Lip Tints, or American Girl Conditioning Lip Shine (from Bath %26amp; Body Works) are also good choices. Just choose a color that you feel matches you the best.

If you want to add a little contrast to your face, try a natural color blush. My favorite is L'Oréal True Match blush because it compliments my face excellently. If you go to www.lorealtruematch.com, they will help you figure out which color is best for you.

Good luck! I hope this information helps you out.Have any good make-up tips for me?
    he
Since your skin is clear and even toned, let your fresh face shine through. You might want to get some fair concealer to dab (lightly) on those dark circles under your eyes to minimize them. Get a waterproof mascara....don't go with anything that ';thickens'; but rather something clean that will lengthen your lashes just a bit and seperate them. Don't bother with eyeliner, you don't need it. If you'd like to give your eyes a bit more of a lift, get a neutral eyeshadow such as a mink brown or taupe. Using a small pencil brush with about a 1/4 inch wide bristle, brush a VERY small amount of eyeshadow within the crease of your eyelid, and take it down from the outside of the crease to the outer edge of your eye. Again, make this very light. After appyling it, take a clean brush (like a small blush brush) and blend the powder into your skin. Keep in mind whatever you apply (shadow, blush, etc) always blend. The last thing you want is to look like a clown applied your makeyp. Finally, don't bother with lipstick, gloss is fantastic and will cap off that ';fresh'; look.

Don't be afraid to experiment with colors for those special occasions. Maybe a lilac shade of eyeshadow and a bit of peach blush? It's up to you, just keep in mind that ';less is more';.
I always think that you want to go for a natural look because it's more subtle, and it's best when you're younger. The best thing for you to do is to go to this website: http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson and do the Virtual Makeover. You choose a model that best matches your hair, eye color and skin tone. It will let you see which colors would look best on you. Then when you're done you can buy the products that you like on the same site!

    Here's a heads-up on the pricing: Foundation $14, Eye Shadow $6.50, Eyeliner $9.50-$11, Mascara $10-$15, Cheek Color $10, Lip Liner $9.50, Lipstick $13, Lip Gloss $13.
well 4 your eyes you should use a light color of any color that matches your clothes. Also you might try clear mascara 4 your lashes.

for your face you should use a light rosy pink blush. but not to heavy and blend it in good.

4 your lips you should try a nice lightly glimmer gloss.

(if eye liner makes the dark circles stick out then don't wear any and just stick to the eye eye shadow)

(also since you have fair skin don't get the eye shadow too light.)

and if you don't have much pimples you don't need to use face powder or a bunch of concealer. Because your young your pores need the air you don't want to clog them cause then you could break out.
Just wear like clear mascara, brown eye shadow, and a pinkish blush, and for lips just like a color to match your blush or just clear. Get stuff for you hair too.

Make-up tips, looking for something different?

I have brown hair (looking to dye, making another question for that), hazel eyes, and I think my skin colour is ivory-ish. I always use my foundation on my lips with some pink tinted lip gloss or red lipstick, I put subtle brownblack eyeliner on the insides of my eyes (the place that everyone can't stand to put it, lol) and some along the bottom. I use brownblack mascara, and I curl my eyelashes, usually I use 3-4 different shades of slightly glittery brown shadow, so it looks natural, yet pretty, and a blush. I've been doing this for a long time now, and I'm getting really bored. Last night I put on some mermaid blue along my top and bottom lash lines and put mermaid green on normally as a shadow. I think it looked pretty rad, but it's all I can think of to spruce up my make-up. I don't want to totally over-do it, but I want to make it fun, not dull and boring. What other things can I do to make it more fun, or maybe you have some other misc. tips. Everything is welcome!!Make-up tips, looking for something different?

Your hair looks awesome! Especially the photo outside, it looks amazing! As for make-up, you would look good with your eyes done up, maybe something like this- http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/5782/鈥?/a> . Look up smokey eyes on Google images to get inspiration. I would have said blue eye-shadow to go with the hair, but I don't think it would suit the shade of your eyes. A dark brown eye-shadow with black mascara maybe? Experiment until you find something you like! I don't bother with any other make-up, just a bit of lip gloss.Question for non-judgemental ppl: What do you think of this blue hair color and do you have any make up tips?
    thats really really nice
The blue would look better if it wasn't faded out. Maybe even a little more in.

    Interesting hairstyle.
im not keen on the way its only on random bits of hair.. id dye it all one colour
It looks good. As for blue-make up tips, i don't think it would go with your eyes, i'de prefer to see the blue hair with green makeup to make your eyes stand out more.

As for makeup, something with more color would bring out your eyes, which are beautiful. Something like this but with a darker shade of blue:

    the hair suits you =]
it looks lovely. i think it'd look really nice all over aswell. like, all blue.

you could try blue eyeshadow/ heavy black eyeshadow/ black egyptian-style liquid eyeliner all round, or half pink, half blue eyeshadow. x
i think you're hot first of all. in regards to your hair color, the blue hair sporadically done throughout it looks really good when you wear something blue to match it, even that headphone cord makes it look 10 times better. but if you're just gonna have that and goth up everything else with black then i'd say dye all of your hair blue or keep all of it black.
To be perfectly honest I like the way you look.Your make up suits you.I wouldn't change anything. You look great and a lot more interesting than most girls.
you look like a freaky ***** in bed

hhhhhmmmmmm..............blues and greys round the eyes but stronger shades.

I think you should experiment with eyeliners with those eyes you could could create a really stunning look.

I'm a bit jealous. People with dark complexions and eyes look great with such striking highlights. Gingas like me just look freaky.

Can you suggest some make up tips please for me?

I like to wear lip gloss but thats about it. But what would suit me. What colours. http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/gg201鈥?/a>Can you suggest some make up tips please for me?
You have very pretty features so we dont want to take that away by covering them with too much make up!

    BASE:

first you have to invest in a really good foundation to even out your skin tone, so i suggest going to clinique and they will match up your skin to a foundation! (i have there makeup its great because its oil free and not tested on animals)

next you need some pressed powder to go over the foundatin, that will stop the foundation from looking to greasy!

now weve got your base going here is the fun stuff, lol

    DAY

EYES: ok so normally people with blue/green eyes cant wear make up that is the same colour as there eyes because it draw attenion away from there eyes, but you should be ok, just dont use a very light brown!

so you can use, deep chocolate browns, dark greens, golds, bronzes, (just use colour that you would see in autum and on autum trees thats the best way i can describe it)

everyone should stay away from baby blue/green! It does not suit anyone unless your five, lol, but baby pinks acceptable

EYELINER: dont go black, its not good for day time, its too harsh! instead go for brown, or eve gold

MASCARA: never use black in the day time, its for night only, so use clear, brown or brown black

BRONZER/BLUSH: use a very light bronzer and sweep it over your cheeks very very lightly

LIPGLOSS/STICK: stick to light colours such as baby pinks, clear.

    NIGHT/PARTY:

EYES: ok for going out to a party use glitter eyeshadow, and colours such as black, dark greys, gold (but not all together, lol)

EYELINER: black, gold,. silver, hot pink (any thing for night or a party go nuts)

MASCARA: Black mascara all the way for going out, if you wanna mix it up a bit add some silver or gold mascara over the top

BRONZER/BLUSH: use a very light bronzer and sweep it over your cheeks very very lightly

LIPGLOSS/STICK: you can go more dramatic at a party so go for any colour you like!

but if you just go to my FAVE website www.covergirl.com (cut and paste the link) and then register for free, then select connect with CG, then choose the CG make up mirror, you can upload your photo and try out all there makeup and try different styles to see which one suits you the most!

    hope this helped!

: )Can you suggest some make up tips please for me?
ok, now u have the same eye and hair color as me. the trick is to use black or brown pencil eyeliner. your mascara should be the same color. do not use overly covering foundation, u have amazing skin. use a concealer, which really is only 4 blemishes, if u ever have any. your eye shadow should be subtle, in the brownish or skin colored tones (or if ur going out, light purple because it suits skin and eye colors such as ours.) when useing blush, make urs a pinkish type, do not go dark. lip gloss should be pinkish or clear. good luck and have fun! ps. the beauty counters actually are very helpfull in this area.
a pinky-peach blush, greens, pinks, and browns for your eyes, and for a simple, everyday look, try a dark brown eyeliner and brown-black mascara. don't forget that lipgloss!
well you are very pretty i think that a light glossy pink or even an ivory color i get the ivory color in a glossy look it has a little bit of shine to it and sparkle ..and just a suggestion i think you would look really nice with a little bit of mascara ,... well good luck with all your answers

    - For Smooth, Soft Lips take a damp washcloth and gently rub lips for 60 seconds before applying mascara.

    - For touch-ups during the day or night, carry a soft toothbrush in your handbag or makeup kit. Be sure to brush your lips gently.

    - Apply a lip balm or conditioner throughout the day to keep lips hydrated and protected from the sun's harmful rays.

    - For a natural-looking eyeliner and the illusion of lusher, fuller lashes, use a dark brown eye pencil and carefully press a series

of dots between your lashes following your lash line.

    - For the sophisticated look, draw a smooth fine line alone the top lashes.

    - To create the dramatic look, draw a line inside your lash line (as close to the lashes as possible), then along the top of the lash line.

    - For a real eye-opener, use an eyelash curler before applying mascara. Curl gently at the base of the lashes, but never beyond the center of the lashes. Don't clamp down on one spot for too long or you'll get a sharp angle.

    - to get brighter, wider eyes apply one thin coat of mascara to both upper and lower lashes. For a more dramatic look, allow first coat to dry completely then apply a second coat concentrating on the base of the lash.

    - To prepare a smooth canvas for your makeup, always start off with clean, moisturized skin. You'll find that your makeup glides on and blends more easily.

    - For softer lips, apply vaseline on your lips at night.

I sell avon products and suggest you wear brn/blk mascara, with peach blush, and a passionate pink or perfectly peach lip gloss.
I would just use a little black mascara and some pink blush on the apples of your cheeks! I think that would be simple and nice on you until you are older. If you are going out and want to look a little more done up, use a shimmery gold shadow, it would match nicely with your blue eyes making them stand out!
Why dont you just try a light brown or gold color for eyeshadow. Those colors look good with anyone. As for choosing your own personal style, just wear what you want. Dont think 'eww No one else wears this' because this is what makes it unique. As long as you like it, its great

Depends on how old you are, what your skin tone is, etc etc.

I would say for 13/14 year olds, maybe some mascara and lip gloss is fine.

15/16 some eyeliner, mascara, a light eyeshadow, lip gloss or stick, a little blush and you're perfect. Some really good make-up tips! for teens- u can say hair too?
Makeup - don't put too much on. Bare Minerals is a good brand.

Hair - don't dye it. Your original hair color looks best.

Yeah, Mac, love it. It is great for anyone. It is a value priced, because it is very similar to pricey lines, but much more affordable for anyone. Most of their stuff is super pigmented, so you need only a little for subtle effects, but you can still have control over drama styles. All the other brands listed are really good too. There are seriously so many. And I like a lot of Sephora, especially their liquid eyeliner. It is perfect!

Okay, so here are some links that would be great for you I think.

You can try the ';dark'; or ';medium'; sets of makeup that Artistry has. All of their colors blend so well! http://www.lthompson25.qhealthbeauty.com Everything listed has a 180 day guarantee also, which makes it a lot better.
you are very pretty....I recommend what I use Coonobabe. Don't worry you can get their products anywhere in the world they ship 4 free.

I use this South Beach theme brand because they are good. Pricing is good, quality is great. BTW: if you have any questions email them they have online makeup experts 24/7. so hope this helps ;)

SMashbox is great and so is Bobbi Brown though that one might be too weak for you. you could do better with MAC just because it has more pigment to make a stronger statement.

Girls-help please! What make up tips can I use to look better in photos?I always look awful in pics?

Here are some make up tips that i ave someone else. They said that these were helpful. And it was voted best answer.

    FOUNDATION:

When selecting the correct foundation shade, apply the two closest possible shades across the cheek. The shade that appears to melt into the skin, leaving no visible trace will be the correct shade.

Avoid trying to determine the correct shade by testing on the neck or forearm, as the skin will be a different colour and texture to that on the face.

If you require an ';in between'; combination of 2 shades, either customise your own colour from the 2 shades or to go with the slightly lighter shade. Colour may always be altered and corrected with a dusting of Australis Bronzing Powder.

Outdoor lighting will provide the best and most natural indicator of the correct shade required. Often harsh fluorescent light can give a false result

For best results, apply Australis brush on, liquid, mousse or compact foundation onto a freshly moisturised and primed skin. Start at the center of the face, gradually working outwards.

A moist sponge will provide the lightest coverage, whilst a foundation brush, dry sponge or fingers will provide an adaptable coverage.

For a more natural result, only apply foundation where needed.

For increased coverage, reapply over required areas or alternatively use Australis Concealer or Liquid Concealer Pen to hide stubborn imperfections.

Finish with a setting of the appropriate Australis Loose or Pressed PoFoundation will always remain fresher looking and be longer lasting if the skin is first prepared with Australis Primer.

For a natural look, always match the Australis foundation shade closest to the natural skin tone. Choosing a darker foundation to create a bronzed effect will only make the skin look muddy and unnatural. Use Australis Bronzing Powder to create a sun-kissed effect.

Always blend foundation in the direction of the skin's grain or any fine down hair growth on the face. Generally this means in an across and downwards motion for most skins. Blending foundation upward will not only accentuates the fine hairs, but also increases the appearance of pore size.

Unless a heavily made-up look is required, avoid using foundation all over the face. Focus on the center of the face and blend outwards, focusing on any areas of imperfections.

Blend, Blend, Blend to avoid streaks and tide marks along the jaw line. For a natural result, foundation ideally should not be applied to the neck or any lower than the chin and jaw line.

For longer lasting eye and lip make-up, always apply a light layer of foundation to the eyelids and lips as the ideal base for eyeshadow and lipstick.

    wder.

    CONCEALER:

Australis bullet form Concealer provides richer and more precision coverage to conceal stubborn imperfections such as blemishes and pigmentation.

Australis Liquid Concealer Pen provides a subtler, light reflecting coverage that is ideal to conceal dark under eye circles, fatigue and signs of aging.

The object is to colour correct the area rather than cover. This step is to be done UNDER the appropriate Australis foundation.

For dark under eye circles and bruising, it is recommended to apply Australis Liquid Concealer Pen or Concealer one shade lighter than the natural skin colour. This will counterbalance any darkness.

For redness, select a colour closest to the natural skin tone for best results.

Simply apply with warm fingertips, cotton bud or concealer brush and blend until the required area is colour neutral. Apply Australis foundation over the top.

    ETC:

Make sure to always not only match your colour choice of blush close to your natural skin tone, but also to compliment your colour choice of eye shadow and lip colour. Co-ordination is the key!

Only apply blush to the cheek area, never on the forehead or chin - this will only make your face look red and irritated. For an all over colour, use Bronzing Powder.

A powder blush formulation is a better option for extremely oily skins to maintain a matt finish.

Avoid using highlighter or cream blush over bumpy areas of the skin (such as pimples or scars), it will only accentuate the imperfection.

    LIPS:

For perfect, pout perfection every time, prepare the lip area for a long lasting result using the appropriate Australis Foundation or Concealer. Using the natural lipline as a guide, apply Australis Lip Pencil or Stayput Long-Lasting Retractable Lipliner from the middle of the lips outwards, starting at the cupid's bow. Apply Australis Colour Max, Moisture Intense or Liquid Shine Lipstick either from the tube or for a more precision application, using a lipbrush. If desired, finish with an application of a similarly shaded Australis Lipgloss. For a sheerer effect, Australis Lipgloss or Plumptastic may be worn alone over lined lips.

    NAILS:

Onto a clean and grease-free nail, firstly apply a coat of Australis Top and Base Coat, followed by 1-2 coats of Australis NGirls-help please! What make up tips can I use to look better in photos?I always look awful in pics?
    stick to the basics:

    1. keep your make up as natural as you can, you dont want to be looking at raccoon eyes or crazy red lips 3 years from now

    2. apply a volumizing product to hair so it wont be limp. if you need more volume come picture time, just gather all your hair to the front. the back of your head wont show in the photo anyway

    3. know your angle, and take pictures in it

    4. think of something happy, that way your smile will come off genuine Girls-help please! What make up tips can I use to look better in photos?I always look awful in pics?
Go to teenvogue.com and sign up 4 their thirty day back 2 school makeover there is a video that shows u how 2 make ur makeup pop in pics. It takes a while 2 get that tip though i think it on like the 28th day its a great video though.
wear slight make-up, but not too much as this can be seen in photos

smile nicely, practice smilig beforehand in the mirror or somewhere, and when ur in front of the camera just be urself

wear clothes ur comfortable with, this will help u when taking ur pic
Work out why you look bad and try and fix it. Is your make up the wrong shade? Does your face look fat? Tray another colour and work out which angle to put your head to make you look better in photos

just smile, natural is the key

im sure it brighten up any photo

    well...

as long as your skin isn't too oily/shiny then i have some ideas:

try Estee Lauder baby pink tones. don't make it straight on pink/purple or else you will look like you didn't wash your face when waking up. Clinique sparkly greens are cute... but don't put on too much!!!

    as for lips... check out benefitcosmetics.com they have lipgloss with gorgueous hues of dark pink/red (yeah, dark PINK!). try ';talk to my agent'; or ';next question please';
go light on the lips and some nice misty silvers and blacks really defining your eyes with black mascara and silver and black eyeshadow and black eyeliner or grey if you can find it.

  • What are some good, appropriate, cool make-up tips for ages 12-13?

im 13 now and want to start towear makeup but dont know any cool funky ways to do it. i do know how to wear it but i want to do it really cool but still appropriate help!!What are some good, appropriate, cool make-up tips for ages 12-13?
The best way for a young person to use make up is to realize its purpose is to enhance what you have, not create something completely new. Go lightly with it. What you see in magazines is not appropriate to wear to school on an everyday basis.

I would suggest going to a large department store make up department's Clinique booth and ask them to show you how to apply make up that is perfect for YOU. Your coloration has a huge impact on what color eye make up and blush you should use and a professional can help you bring out your best features. I wear glasses and when I was 15-16 I went and had a make over and the lady showed me some great tips for enhancing my eyes to show out from behind my glasses better. I still use that tip to this day! What are some good, appropriate, cool make-up tips for ages 12-13?
Don't use foundation - at 12-13 you don't need it and it will clog your pores.

Just try a bit of eye-liner and mascara and see how that goes. It's amazing how different mascara will make a person look if she's never worn make-up before.

Blue eye shadow is a bit of a dicey area though - if you've got blue eyes, you're supposed to only wear it if the shade matches your eyes (or so I read). Better to stick to more neutral colours and see how it looks (browns are good).

Just start out light and don't go for such a heavy look, you're young!
when you first start to wear make up dont go crazy.

start with mascara and/or a little eyeliner.
A little lip gloss and nothing else.
not ot wear any at all you are 13 noone is looking at you

Help me out with a few make up tips please?

Hi , I tend to wear foundation eyeliner and mascara but every time i put it on , it always looks like iv put to much on, i have changed my foundations several times and i either look to pale or to dark. But every one can always tell i have a lot of foundation on. what can i do to make it less notice able.? =D Help me out with a few make up tips please?
Dont put as much one. start of with not much then you can grdually build it up if you really want to, and if you do go too far then just dap your face with some cotton wool or pads or something.Help me out with a few make up tips please?
you have to get the right shade first of all. Otherwise, obviously it won't look like it matches. Maybe you could try the smart foundation or whatever, Idk how well it works though. And don't put so much on, why would you want all that on your face anyway, you're just provoking breakouts.

Find the right shade, and tone it down a little. Then you won't look fake, cuz to me, right now you sound like you look veryyyyyy fake.
try a blendable lightweight foundation or mineral foundation. try Revlon Beyond Natural Foundation or CoverGirl TruBlend. True Match by L'Oreal is okay, but not really worth it.

Does anyone know any good make up tips?
here are great tips for u

    # You don't need a lot of makeup for your makeup to do its job--in fact in many cases, less is more.

    # Choose an eye shadow that complements your blue eyes. Shades in the brown, rose and violet families are best. The warm hue of these shades contrasts with the cold tone of your blues to really make them pop. Use a shade that is darker in tone than your eye color to make your baby blues shine

    # to enhance blue eyes is to line the inner rims of your eyelids with a white liner. This really opens up the eyes and magnifies the blue color. Try adding a touch of shimmering white or pale silver eyeshadow beneath the brow to further enhance blue eye color. Be careful not to overdo this to avoid a harsh, overly made up look. Finish up with a coral lipstick which can further magnify your eye color.

    # Select a brown shade of eyeliner. The harshness of traditional, black liner will take away from the natural beauty of blue eyes. Choose a dark or medium brown liner to highlight blue tones.

    # Blue or brown mascara can help highlight blue eyes by making your eyes look bigger. Take the mascara wand and apply the mascara. Start at the root of your eye lash and coat the lashes to the tips. You may want to apply several coats to get the full effect of the mascara.

    # Apply a light or neutral tone blush and lip color. Keeping the rest of your makeup minimal will naturally draw attention to your eyes.

    # Another way to enhance the color of your eyes is to get a light tan on your face. The dark contrast of your skin against your lighter eye color can be quite striking. To avoid sun damage, consider using a self tanner or bronzer which will be healthier for you in the long run. If you have strikingly beautiful blue eyes, consider wearing your hair up. This will call attention to your face and eyes. Be sure to get plenty of sleep so that your eyes look clear and bright. Although you can enhance your eye color even more by investing in colored contact lenses, this tends to look unnatural on most people.
There are some make-ups (like eye Shadow blush, ect.) that can easily match or blend your skin tone and have instructions on where to put certain colors. I have a set from Maybelene New York, and it comes with 4 eye Shadow colors. On the back, it shows you where to put certain colors to make your eyes and skin tone pop.

    Hope I Helped!

    ~ Miss. Daisy Dukes %26lt;3
my ex girlfriend was the same way really pale skinned had blue eyes but died her hair black... she used a really light liquid foundation and a really light powder. dont use something to dark because it will look like you have a mask on and give you a ring around your face. hope that helps some. she also used a dark liquid eyeliner and black mascara but thats up to you. hope that helps some
Use greys and coals. Basically shades of black, grey, and white. Use coal or black eyeliner. Choose eyeshadow that gives application guide lines on the back so that you know how to put it on best. You will look great. Trust me, I put time into thinking about what would look best.

Also, try a brownzer that has a bit of shimmer and is slightly darker than your actual shade. Use a glossy pink lip shade or if you are feeling bold, red would look great also. Good luck.
go light on your make ups use a light brown color above the eye (to act as eyeliner, but only above the eye) and curl your eyelashes with a eyelash curler. if you are going out one night apply some sexy bold red lipstick. i am in the same way with the skin type and the blue eyes (i have brown hair though) and I do this everyday. it looks fresh and sexy be proud of your pale skin, a lot of people will envy it. :) i hope this helps you

shop at American Eagle and Hollister, wear jean skirts and flats, lots of cute tanks in the summer, flipflops, polos .. big sunglasses .. for makeup, go natural, but still make it obvious that you have makeup on. so, brown eyeliner and eyeshadow to make your eyes pop, and a touch of mascara, some light pink shimmer gloss, and a tiny bit of blush to make your cheeks look rosy. for hair, layered, the longer the better, good thing you have blonde hair. alot of preps have blonde hair. paint your nails and toes. bring a mirror to school to keep either in your locker or pencil case. or both. also bring top up lipgloss to school also. cant get chapped lips.Preppy girls out there, iv just started getting into the style, and need some style, hair and make up tips?
    well heres sum stores

    hollister

    abercrombie

makeup: start out simple, mayb a little foundation and mascara, then after a while, try eyeliner, blush, and other types.

hair: curly or straight works, longer hair works better for ';preppy'; because there is alot more possible styles

    hope this helps
Im a preppy girl and for starters...

Make sure you wear only brand names like Hollister/A%26amp;F/AE.

Make sure you always look great no matter what! Makeup, keep it simple...a little mascara and some lipgloss. As for your hair...you could straighten it and put a skinny head band in it. or put it up in a pony tail. As for your shoes? UGGS in the winter are a deff. and ballet flats, flip flops, and cute heels are a must! Your wardrobe HAS to have polos also! Some good perfumes are Juicy Couture, EZRA by Abercrombie and Fitch, Ryder from Hollister Co., Malia from Hollister co, and SoCal by Hollister Co.
    just look PLAIN.
Well, for starters, you should go to Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, etc. Just find things in there. It's that easy.

Go into Abercrombie and Abercrombie and Fitch-like stores -- they have a lot of ';preppy'; clothes. Look at their mannequins and stuff and you get lots of ideas.

As a general makeup tip, stay away from multicolored eyeshadows and rainbow lipsticks, and stuff like that, if you know what I mean. I think if you're just getting into a style, a more understated look is what you need.
For your hair when you wear it up in a pony tail get about 3 inches' width from your front [in the center], pull it straight back and clip it but have it a bit poofed and then pull the rest of your hair back into the pony tail [if that made sense? lol] look at some girls' Yahoo icons, they've got that hair style. And if you want get some stray hair strands to fall to right under your cheek to frame your face; that's what I do and everyone always compliments my hair on how great it looks, even the emo/punk guys who are seniors, lolol.

But yeah, pretty much what everyone else said.

I need full color tips make up and clothes?

I have light olive skin with rosy cheeks, warm black hair, and amber eyes can you help?I need full color tips make up and clothes?
I have a friend that has about the same coloration as you do it sounds like and she looks great in just about anything she wears, but i have to say that a maroon or burgendy color looks the best on her. So on clothes I would wear some cute jeans and a shirt that is a maroon color. As far as make-up goes, I think play it up pretty natural since you have rosy cheeks anyways. Maybe do a little bit more to your eyes but as far as lips go I would use a sheer gloss.I need full color tips make up and clothes?
Stick to light browns, reds, greens, yellows, and blues.

I am just like you! Hope this answers your question!
you are an autumn color. You can wear warm colors such as ambers, olive greens, dark golds, rust, and so on. Use a blush that is more of a peach color and brown eye shadow. Your lip color should have warm orange tones.

and i wear dark make up not goth but...dark liner and shadows but i only do this when I'm going out to party or a special event when its a regular day i just go natural with little bit of mascara, lip gloss and blush:)
    Hiya,

If you dye your hair black (which is fine) and then wear black eyeliner you will look goth.

My advice is to use concealer first then apply powder and rouge to your face and cheeks. Wear mascara and maybe a soft brown eyeliner. I think that a pale lip gloss would be best. For eye shadow, maybe a sparkly one?

    hope this help,

The one that you have in your yahoo avaitor will do.
The best hairstyle with extensions that I'v seen, is when you sweep all your hair back into a high pony tail but leave a section at the forehead free. Then get a clip or two and bring back the hair leaving a speed bump. It looks really good with cat eyes (done with eyeliner) and some blush.

her EYES!!!!! she sounds like me.... tell her that she needs to put liquid eyeliner on casual days on top lid, very close to the lashes so it looks like part of the eye - but stop exactly where the eye stops (no tails - that looks made up!) - and not too thick - so that it still looks natural.... she can get away with it (like i can) so it'll look like she looks like that naturally. on casual but special days, tell her to put on eyeliner on the bottom INSIDE (that little fine white line on your bottom lid). use an indian ';kajal'; for that so she doesnt have to keep re-applying. u can get this from any local ';indian';store - yes just look fro a place which sells indian movies and ask where you can get ';kajal';. On special days, like REALLY special - put kajal inside, and a non-smudge eyeliner on the outside. by the way, the liquid eyeliner takes practice - after 5 times of using - she'll be a pro at it.... if u dnt understand or have more questions, just come on my page and mail me then i might send you some pics of me if its difficult to grasp from what i've written... good luck! xx

ps forget the blush, foundation etc. it'll look too overdone. the eyes is the key. for lips, make sure its omething nude or a LIGHT pink. nothing too bright, unless the occasion calls for it - but even then - be careful... take care...Make up tips for a friend?
well i work in mac so i hope i can help. if she has brown eyes try workn wit a thin layer of eyeliner. wit eyeshadow stay away from the browns. stick to greys, purples, greens r the best. wit foundation jus use if needed. wit lip color u want sumtn lite. dark wud make her look darker n wat u need is to compliment the skin tone. so work wit nice soft pink glosses. n wit blush jus a simple pink, bt not to pink, wud work jus fine, a tip b4 u work wit dis. dont use all of the make up at one tym or she cud look pretty funny. start off wit eyeshadow n work wit wat u think is rite

Prestige has a bronze color that would look nice. It comes in a small silver container and can be found at walgreens, cvs, and wegmans stores.Make up tips for someone with hazel eyes and pale skin?
We have similar complexions I use gold, light pink, and white eye shadow layer them put the white on first , then the pink, and then apply the gold try experiementing with diffrent brands and techniques for applying it, if you are having trouble ask a friend or go to a department store with a Clinique or Lancome counter and they will help you.
i have thee same problem. So what i have found that really opens up my eyes is Urban Decays Graffiti eyeshadow. I apply it all around my eye (my upper and lower lid line, kind of like eyeliner, but a little bit thicke line) Dont cover the whole lid though, very little, and then i just apply black eyeliner on my upper and lower lashlines, and top it off with loreals volume shocking mascara.

i will try to post a picture in a bit. :]
i am in the same situation! if you find anything let me know!

I'm being Audrey Hepburn for Halloween. I need hair and make up tips ASAP!!!?

I have a dress, but it goes down to my knees and it is dark navy blue almost black. I also have the necklace. Should I go look for black elbow length gloves even though my dress is a dark navy blue? Should I wear black tights with it? (just because it might get chilly) And the hair! I need tips for the hair!!I'm being Audrey Hepburn for Halloween. I need hair and make up tips ASAP!!!?

Audrey Hepburn is a very attractive women. You have chosen well. Audrey always wore her hair up in a french roll or just pulled up on the top of her head with a side bang. I think if you look up her name on your computer you will find a picture of her.I don,t think Audrey would have worn tights, but if you will be outside you might consider wearing them. If you don,t plan on wearing the gloves i wouldn,t go to the expense.
Everything you have so far sounds good, if it's not chilly skip on the tights and wear ballet flats.

Also you might want to consider some sunglasses, wayfarer style or oversized would work.

You have to do her hair, the pouf is integral! Check this article for tips on how to get it:
