I'm a beauty student so I get given quite a lot of advice. Some good, some bad. Some of the best tips that helped me are:

Apply eyeliner before mascara.

When curling eyelashes, curl one first and then apply the mascara and do the same to the other. Curling both after one another will cause you to lose the curl by the time you've got your mascara ready.

To help eyeshadow stay vibrant and last longer, apply foundation to the lids so the eyeshadow has something to grab onto and always wet your brush beforehand so the eyeshadow is a paste and will set onto the eyelids properly.

Always apply foundation (and any make-up for that matter) with a brush/sponge. Foundation should be applied in downwards strokes so the hairs on the face won't stand up.

Blending, of course. It makes the make-up look more natural and soft.

Applying mascara onto the outer lids will give a more feminine look.

A light layer of foundation along with lip liner, can help your lip-gloss/stick to stay on longer.

There's millions more but I can't remember them right now. What are the best make up tips you've ever gotten?
1. Use eyeshadow to set eyeliner

2. Blend blend blend! (I used to put on makeup verrry strangely)

3. Curl base of eyelashes, then middle, then top. Much less jagged-looking!

4. Use Kiss Me Blinc mascara in order to have an absolutely no smudge mascara. - I sleep with it on.. like all the time. And there's NOTHING under my eyes. Craziness.

5. have fun! It's like art. :)

Hope this helps!
Put your eyeliner on first, then your mascara.

Have a base color for eyeshadow

Use more natural colors makeup needs to enhance your beauty not make you look totally different.
