I have an interview at DILLARDS what should i wear & make up tips please?

I am applying for a position in cosmetics. Also any info on Dillards that would be helpful would be great. Thank you :)I have an interview at DILLARDS what should i wear %26amp; make up tips please?
Dress conservative, yet classy/stylish. Think of a matching skirt/jacket set with a great blouse and lovely pair of heels. I'd keep the makeup fresh looking and play up your best features-you won't look overly made up, but you'll still look great.I have an interview at DILLARDS what should i wear %26amp; make up tips please?
Wear a suit if you have one; or a skirt and blouse. Make sure your shoes are cleaned and polished. Bring a small purse instead of a great big one.

Your make-up should be natural looking without any blue or green eyeshadow. Your hair should be clean and neat. Jewelry should be at a minimum.

The interviewer may ask you why you want to work in this position. Be prepared with a good answer. Do not answer ';because it sounds like fun.'; Say something like ';because I like assisting people and I want to help them choose their cosmetics.'; Something like this....

Do not ask what the job pays. Hopefully, you'll know at the end of the interview. Be sure to ask if there are any other candidates for the job; ask when he/she is planning on making a decision.

If you think you would like this job, ask for it. There is absolutely nothing wrong in saying, ';This position coincides with my interests, and I would like to be considered for it.';

Good luck. Oh, go on-line for Dillard's and get as much information as you can about them. Write it all down or print it out. Bring it with you. If the interviewer asks if you have any questions, you can ask him/her about some fact on your paper. Like, I see Dillard's is _____ years old. How many stores are there altogether? This shows that you took the initiative to look up info about the store.
I nice pair of dress pants would look great. Black, chocolate brown, or a deep grey. Pair it with a button up shirt and nice heels.

Keep your hair simple and out of your face. That doesn't mean you have to put it up, just make sure your bangs don't fall down in your eyes.

Keep your make-up simple. I'd say play up your eyes. Don't use heavy eyeliner. A soft grey would look nice and a couple coats of mascara. Go like on the blush and wear a sheer pink/nude lip gloss. You don't have to match your eye shadow with your outfit. If you usually wear brown shades and that brings out your eyes then wear your brown shades and brown eyeliner.

At the interview, relax! Don't talk with your hands a whole lot. Keep eye contact. If you can't look someone in the eye then look between their eyes at their forehead (they'll never know the difference)

Sit on the edge of your seat with your feet neatly tucked. Sit up straight. (Think princess diaries)

Speak clearly and slowly. Don't say um. If you're not sure of your answer right off, pause for a second before your open your mouth.

Be sure you shake their hand when you walk in and say ';Hi I'm (insert name). It's nice to meet you.';

When you leave shake their hand and tell them thank you.

I'm running out of tips now. Just be calm and be yourself... and smile!!
wear like a nice blouse any color go creative and a really nice skirt like say black or you can wear pants but not jeans and you should like you can put your hair down but i recomend you put it in a nice slick low ponytail or bun or blow dry it straight down and you will look totally professional hope i helped -laurenna
youre supposed to dress for interviews as just a step higher than you plan on dressing while at the job.

in this case that will probably end up being something like a collered button-up shirt, nice slacks... heels probably.

no dress or anything is necessary, but at least sort of formal.

as for make-up, just wear what you usually wear
As a rule of thumb, dressing in a suit for an interview wouldn't do you any harm. You must be able to capture the tailored look, but in a feminine manner. Double breasted in navy or black, perhaps softened with a scarf rolled under the collar, its a classic which will never be out of style...
